I have been with Flocor for 5 months and so far it has been a great experience. Everyone I work with has been at this location for many years and are happy to answer all of my questions or help each other out when needed. The salary is competitive for an entry level position and you get good vacation time and pension plan after your probation is up. 
My manager and co-workers are excellent at what they do and extremely helpful. Everyone pitches in and fills the gaps when people take time off. You have a lot of freedom to make work decisions and get proper feedback when you make mistakes. Our manager has been getting us a lunch once a month which has been a nice little treat that goes a long way for me. 
The training is typical for any work environment with shadowing and training videos. The company seems open to employee feedback with meetings and surveys of what we think of the company. The work itself is challenging and rewarding if you like to be busy and solve unique problems on a day to day basis.  

Overall I would recommend this company to anyone thinking of pursuing a career here. The only unknowns come with wage and career growth which is why I will post an update after my annual performance review.    

I have worked for Flocor for less than a year and cannot speak highly enough about the company and my job. I was recruited to interview with Flocor and went through interviews with every level of management. Their process is intensive but not difficult, I felt they were committed to making sure it was a good fit for both of us. 
The organization and platforms available for payroll, benefits and company training is amazing, the pay is far above industry standard - truly performance based. The benefits are customizable - you can choose coverage and they have a great RRSP matching!  Our EAP is next level - we have access to an HSA and dieticians on top of every other EAP offering.  
Regarding the actual job - I have amazing managers and everyone listens to my ideas, there’s zero micromanaging. My coworkers are phenomenal - because they’re also happy and appreciated. 
If you get a chance to work for this company, do it! There is a reason that majority of the staff have been here for 20+ years. 

All though I have only been employed at Flocor a short time I enjoy the job, the people and atmosphere. Not a lot of politics.Scheduling is a little bit of a problem for pick-ups and deliveries as there is a lack of communication between the sales department and the shipping department . Sales people waste the time of drivers and the shippers sending drivers for pick-ups that are not ready.This seems like the normal things sales people do to make themselves look good but blows up in their faces by promising customers things they can not deliver. That putting everyone else down the line into a total waste of time,running around ,burning fuel ,explaining to the customers that their order is not ready because a sales person jumped the gun to get things rolling when the departments that process the orders are not given enough time to process orders that are already in the system. Communication is the biggest important factor to make a company successful.

After my inaugural year at Flocor Head Office located in Stoney Creek Ontario, I thought it be fitting I write a review to let others know about my experience.  From day one, the Leadership team made sure I had everything I needed to get the ball rolling.  The onboarding experience was great, the people were friendly and willing to help, the culture was something that I knew would be a good fit for me.  The company has a good mix of long standing employees, which speaks volumes about the work / life balance aspect of Flocor, and young energetic beginners who are looking to make a name and career for themselves.  I get the support I need, the autonomy to make my own decisions, and the ability  for career advancement I was looking for.

I enjoy my day to day work. I come from a very specific industry and use to get calls about those specific products only. Now I sell to several different industries and learn new things on a daily basis! I am encouraged and rewarded for continued education and training to improve my current product knowledge. I have fun with the people I work with and enjoy all our company festivities! Coffee is provided and weekly treat days keep our staff eager and alert. My Management team is very accommodating of your work life balance. Anytime something unexpected has happened to me(and everyone else since 2019) they have made every effort to ensure I feel safe and appreciated. I don't just feel like an employee working at Flocor. I feel like a member of a great team, and a work family!

It has been a genuine privilege to work at this prestigious establishment. From management to workplace culture to completing daily task, it has all been a great experience. Management is approachable, quite friendly and interactive in day to day activities and even social activities. The workplace culture is very enjoyable. Staffs are all friendly and helpful. Furthermore, the completion of daily tasks are not overwhelming and creates a work life balance. Some task has cause me to exercise my thinking muscle which fosters growth. Overall, my experience has been a great one and I look forward to more growth with this company. I would definitely recommend working for this company to anyone looking for a great opportunity to grow and grow in one of the best environments! 

If you are generally lazy, unmotivated, looking to hang out and bore the days away then this is the job for you!! 
Not only will you do the bare minimum of nothing day to day, you’ll also learn next to nothing but florcor processes. 
You are a glorified box packer and unpacker. And they want you to think you are building rocket ships. It’s a laughable job at best. And in the interview, the job is zero percent how they described it. 
Show up for 8 hours do absolutely nothing then repeat the process for 5 days a week. While everyone that works there thinks sending and receiving 2 boxes a day then hanging out on the computer is a great day at work. Good fit for someone who just wants to hang out all day. 

Working at Flocor feels like you are a one man team working at this Stoney creek location. With heavy workloads and bringing concerns to management. Nothing gets resolved and management puts the blame on you instead of fixing the core issues. Physical and emotional draining working here. They know we are understaffed and refuse to hire people on a timely manner. Lots of people complaining and management does nothing but yell at you if you complain! Some individuals take excessive days off and make it more difficult for the people that do show up to complete their job because they have to now do more work.

A great company to build your career! Management supports your success and believes in work- life balance. The staff are committed to the overall success of the organization. I have had the opportunity to work alongside and job shadow the existing Branch Manager of 25years to learn company systems and processes and believe this is a great way to learn and ensure success. Many staff within the organization are long term employees and their level of commitment shows in the delivery of customer service that is provided. I am very happy to have made the decision to join the FLOCOR team.

management were mediocre they are slow on keeping up on asset management and lack of priority when and where investment was needed they have forklifts that are so old that getting replacement parts was virtually impossible. equipment was damaged and should have been removed from service due to WorkSafe standards creating safety issues . Racking systems where pallets of product were in excess of load capacity of the rack weight allowance
