The assembly line and packaging is not too difficult but can get repetitive after a while. The radio stations always play the same songs everyday which could be irritating at times. 
Fortunately many of my coworkers were friendly and treated me well during the time I worked with them. My coworkers created a positive environment to work in which helped pass the time quicker.  My  team leaders were very friendly as well and were fair in assigning tasks. 

How to succeed at Fluxwerx:
- always ask if you don't know how to do something 
- remember to greet people with "good morning" (increases chances of them liking you by 74%)
- always respond to questions or name being called with "yes boss" (even if you outrank them)
- if your break is at 10:15, start heading to the break room at 10:14 since it will be 10:15 by the time you get there (be sure to yell "bRreak bRreak" as you start to leave your station)
- deodorant is essential 
- arrive at work early for good parking spots
- dont arrive at work too early or your car will be boxed in (true story)
- don't be afraid to socialize. The workplace can't be enjoyable if you don't make it enjoyable
- ask if someone is using the pallet jack or strapper before taking it
- don't be afraid to think outside of the box to solve problems

In conclusion Fluxwerx is a good company to work in but it can definitely improve in some areas.

P.S. company should consider investing in electrical hand dryers instead of the hundreds of paper towel rolls, more garbage cans and cardboard bins around the factory since they are always overflowed and team leaders deserve higher wages... but what do I know, I'm just a packager...

My first flag that Fluxwerx was not what I expected came in the first week. I was told in my interview they did not have a high turnover, and no one had left the company in the last 5 years due to a bad work environment or anything that Fluxwerx might be responsible for - all of it was for "personal reasons". That unfortunately was a lie, multiple people have resigned and want to leave but are stuck there due to other reasons. 

I have witnessed multiple employees be micro managed, ignored and given unrealistic expectations. How do you expect the company to be successful if you do not give your employees the tools to be successful? The management is extremely poor, back stabbing and finger pointing is everywhere, and if and when you are successful do not expect to be rewarded or thanked. 

Mission statement, company values - do not expect to find any of that at Fluxwerx, it simply does not exist. The company wants to push its employees to the breaking point, and then ask for more. 

Salary, Bonuses, Benefits... its laughable how weak all of those are. If your told you'll get your bonus and it will top up your salary - beware, that is also a lie (1 bonus in 4 years).

The best part of working at Fluxwerx is depending on the team you are on, all non-management roles are extremely friendly, helpful and will always support you.

Best of luck if you do accept a role here, my advice, if you have an alternative option, take that one!

I had a great time working at Fluxwerx. I met many great people and made great memories that I will never forget.
For the record, I worked at Fluxwerx with the old management [those who know will know what I am talking about, if not, you‘ll hear about it if you ask around] and with the new management + the newly added HR member. 
The reviews aren’t wrong, the pay kind of sucks, it can get very chaotic and management still need improvement.  However, with the new management and new HR member, I can guarantee and believe that they will make this company a place where you will want to stay -  not because you need to but because you want to. [The new management has plans for improvement and it will take a while but they will get there!].  
The assemblers/packers/staff members are wonderful and extremely helpful. I wouldn’t have gotten to where I was without them. Don’t be afraid to rely on them. And ASK QUESTIONS! - there is no such thing as a stupid question here.
Despite its flaws, I wholeheartedly believe that the people here at Fluxwerx are what make this company “a second home/family” . I would have loved to stay longer but I was unable to due other life plans. It’ll be intimidating at first, but believe me when I say that this job is not hard - whichever position that you may take.

Hands down the worst place I have ever worked in my entire career. If you are thinking of working there, do yourself a favor and just don't. It's an extremely toxic work environment. Behaviors/attributes that the working culture encourages/nurtures there include: antagonism, vindictiveness, divisiveness, and discord. Bullying and intimidation are also perfectly acceptable forms of behavior as well. Truth is not a virtue that is held in high regard. What makes it worse is that maanagement truly believes that a healthy team environment exists, when in fact the opposite is true. So nothing will ever be done to change the working environment there. If you absolutely must go work there, save/archive e-mails, take notes on conversations/meetings (i.e. dates, times, who was there, what was said), and otherwise be on high alert at all times. You will absolutely need the information that you recorded at some point down the road in the future. Trust me!

If you’re thinking about working here, just think twice. Honestly, there’s little to no recognition for hard work. You can put in a lot of effort, but it doesn’t really make a difference—people who do nothing get paid the same.

Another thing is, you might get in trouble for speaking your own language, while people who speak English seem to be treated better.

The place honestly feels more like a training hub for another company (“IEM”), where people come, learn a bit, and then leave. In the first couple of months, you might actually like it, but during probation you start noticing the toxic environment, and by around six months, most people are already looking for something else.

Also, basic things aren’t great—fans don’t really work in the summer, and heaters don’t work properly in the winter.

There is one who takes you, and another who becomes in 2 days a manager will kick you out if you don't know how to do a task better.
Slave job.
No opportunity to learn something new.
You stand all day long on cement floor. Too cold and easy get cold or other sickness.
Some parts are so sharp, so if you work without gloves you cut yourself in a second or two.
Dirty parts also require to wear gloves. However, some spots require finger feel, otherwise connections will be lose or not good at all.
Most people speak different languages from India, so you feel frustrated, confused and it is like you are in wrong place. You never know what they are talking about you or something else.

The wage could be better, but everyone makes the same on the production floor. There's no bias, everyone is equal, management are decent, family atmosphere is very present, occasional free snacks, or lunches, benefits, and pretty understanding if you need to book a day off.  You learn a lot about building innovative lighting products using simple drills, square tools, following assembly diagrams and paying attention to people teaching you.  They're constantly growing, even small ways, becoming ever more innovative as time goes on. I'm very curious to see what they'll accomplish in time.

Fluxwerx has the most toxic work environment I have ever experienced, I would not wish working here on my worst enemy. Management blatantly rejects that there is any problem with the work environment. Employees are treated as if they have no value by supervisors. This job comes with very little opportunity for financial advancement. This workplace from my observation has a very high turnover rate for employees, poor job security many of my co-workers would get laid off then brought back on until they are all eventually let go.

I normally don't write reviews but I couldn't stop myself writing this review after seeing the effort the company has put in making sure that everyone in production was safe. The operations manager and rest of the supervisors and team leads worked really hard to make sure that everything was clean and people following social distancing and people were following rules and regulations. Even I was very scared coming to work before, but all the efforts and rules and regulations made me comfortable and I keep coming. Good job.

I agree with many other reviews on Indeed that Fluxwerx has very unhealthy work environment. The work environment in Customer service is so poor that every few months somebody quits or is let go. Both the sales manager and the customer service manager are extremely inexperience and have no clue, how to run the department. Favoritism is at its peek in the department. People work under constant stress and unnecessary pressure. Its not good for your health. Seriously, stay away!
