Food Systems Management

A typical day for me is to bake, make soup and specials. I have been working on a new marking program that finally been approved.

 I have finally won over the customer base providing good quality food and adding the preference to there individual taste. I provide off the menu items as required if the product is available. 

 Working on line in a fast paced environment has been the biggest challenge but  I have done a pretty good job mastering it.

 I have a great team that I work with on a daily basis. My supervisor is the best she is there when I need her but mostly lets me do my thing.

 The most enjoyable part of this position has been winning back a very disgruntled customer base. I know most buy name and what they will have most of the time. They do change it up on occasion and have my specials and my soups are a huge hit.

What is the best part of working at the company?
I would strongly advise anyone considering working at this company to think twice. There are absolutely no real growth opportunities here.
The salary is very low compared to the workload
Management appears extremely disconnected from employees. The work environment feels fake — people act supportive on the surface, but behind the scenes there is no real teamwork or transparency
There is a lack of appreciation for hard work, and employees are easily replaceable in the company’s eyes. Overall, it’s not a place where you feel valued, respected, or motivated to build a future.
I would not recommend this company to anyone looking for stability, fair pay, or genuine professional growth

What is the most stressful part about working at the company?
Disconnected management from employees

My typical day is to get all the breakfast ready and take care of customers and cook and serve what they would like that day.

By 11 am i start to prepare the lunch specials and get all prepared and prepped and ready for noon.

I make sure that the cafe is cleaned at all time. I also have to make sure that all orders are done on time.

Every month i have to get inventory done.

I have been learning how to manage time and how to do inventory and how to do orders and take care of the customers in a fast pace. 

I get alone and work well with my co-worker.

The hardest part of the job would be when we are not busy and my hours get cut.

I very much enjoy being with the public and helping them with what they need. I Enjoy cooking and  keeping busy at all times

What is the best part of working at the company?
No matter how long or how hard you work
They will not give you a raise. Hours are horrible.  Poor training and management is very poor . MOUSETTE THE OWNER IS A CHEAP!!After five years of employment I received a gift card for shopp drug mart. $ 5 doesn’t even cover the cost for Advil for all the headaches they cause

What is the most stressful part about working at the company?
No respect for the staff or customers 

What is the work environment and culture like at the company?
Unstable and unsanitary . The environment needs cleansing 

What is a typical day like for you at the company?
Stressful  and not organized . Food is no good

Unorganized, understaffed, poor communication.
They don't train the site managers to their systems properly if at all. 
There was no reliable way to have someone cover for you if you were sick. 
I was hurt at a site tearing my rotator cuff & was not supposed to be working but had to because managemnt couldn't be bothered to understand the seriousness of the injury.


Management doesn't listen to simple ideas to make more money

Expect the work of 3 people

Won't pay for overtime

Short you in product supply

Little to no training 
Health violations galore
No one to replace you if you're sick/need to take a day off


During my time with the company, I saw lack of leadership,  and unavailable supervision. I have waited 2 weeks for a reply to a simple question..A chamge in management did not benefit the company, in my opinion


no praise when job is done well no raises...make coffee, make sandwiches/salads.Serve customers,do dishes, clean up, cash out, manage the moneys. A few locations I was working with an amazing co-worker.

A great time to be had if you enjoy a friendly and compassionate workplace.  There is always opportunity for advancement and the management is very accommodating as well as fair.
