Foodland Deli Department

There is lots of food preparation and handling. Intense cleaning and sanitization. I learned a lot about different types of food and the proper way to clean. I also gained valuable customer service experience. Everyone is very nice and it felt like a family. The hardest part of the job is the physical work. The most enjoyable part is food preparation, working with your coworkers, and customer service.

Loved working with the girls there. Have moved away and miss the stories and laughs we shared and the great experiences with meeting many different people from the area as well as the many vacationers in the summer months!!

While working at Foodland in the deli I learned how to mange my time very well and while also making sure everything was done on time. The workers in the deli were always very friendly and always greeted you with a smile. I very much enjoyed my time there.

Haven't been here long but word travels fast. Many of those in this department are fantastic minus one that makes everyones lives miserable. They should not be working at all, thier cooking and aditude towards their coworkers and customers show how they are not suited for the job. Everyone wonders how they are still employed.

Management a little nitpicky, but that is kinda the norm for most places. Job was fun, not too physically demanding (I was over 200lbs and had no issues), wasn't stressful, hours were pretty good. Best part of deli is you aren't only dealing with customers - you're prepping and cooking food as well.

If favorite items are featured in flyer, there is a lot of behind the scenes prep to satisfy customers.
On any given day, there is a need to make sure we have the correct product and the shelves are filled to guarantee quantity.

Business is always busy, leaving little room for raises, upgrades and decent breaks or vacation. Other coworkers were clearly overworked, making relationships often strenuous

Working at the foodland deli department was fast paced and relaxing, everyone had a duty to fulfill and the rapport was smooth and harmonious.  Every task was completed.

I like working in Foodland,friendly people ,good work hours,fresh hot meals ,fresh salads,subs ,close location .very recommended to people hebr very big lunch room,code maker.

Good place to work, keeps you busy, always has something to do. Understandable when something comes up and willing to give time off when needed. Overall great place to work
