While working as an office assistance, I noticed it involves a lot of organization skills and ability to work under pressure and time. This experience gave me incite of office life and working in a company. Having to constantly answer phones and transfer documents, this became hard at first due the numbers of papers I would deal with a day. Yet, I enjoyed this job due to all the organization skills needed and the new knowledge I have obtained. I worked with a lot of excel and quick books (programs I never used before), and even organizing payroll. The hardest part of this job was how precise I had to organize files into folders, even the lengths of the papers had to match and line up. Overall the workplace was friendly and fun, my boss may have been strict but he was also very caring. This job was a very fun and enjoyable experience for me.

It was like a bad relationship,  you give and give and they just keep taking.
Always Feast then famine. They dont care about you being  gone long periods.away from family and then lay u off  in a heart beat when it slows down, so their 20 person office can keep getting paid . 
Old poor equiptment, maintenance is not a priority.

From the day one I was on a first name basis with everyone in the company which was a big change from feeling like a number elsewhere. 
The work is challenging, its Drilling, but they run 2 helpers per crew which makes things a little easier, and the scenery is always changing. 
Geotechnical Drilling is not the same as Diamond drilling, so instead of a bonus systems, the hourly wages are higher to compensate. There is no reward for getting a job done faster if its not done right. 
Benefits are great, Staff is knowledgeable and happy to teach, Equipment has dramatically improved over the last few years. 

I got hired 2 weeks before the pandemic started and pretty well every camp job got shut down, they kept me working full time in the shop, even on slow days, there I'd still get my hours.  

Great crew, super smart guys, wicked drillers..  

When I finally did get out working they had me in Revelstoke, beauty job right on the water, only left because my old company needed me to drill.  

10/10 recommend this company, it's hard work, but they'll train you up and move you up.

Foundex is an enjoyable company to work for with impeccable company culture. They are organized with clear project schedules & daily outcomes provided to all employees. The team is composed of many tenured employees with a great deal of knowledge in the field & willingness to mentor others. The work atmosphere was very inviting and this in turn creates a strong team collaboration.

Had the pleasure of working for Foundex last summer. One of the best working environments I have been around in a very long time. The leadership they bring to the job site does not go unnoticed! Making the job both challenging and enjoyable with the projects they take on! Great atmosphere combined with hard work and excellence! 

Everyone has shown me nothing but kindness since starting to work here.
There is a motivating energy around the office and shop when everyone is here getting the job ready to head out the door. Having the whole team work well together really brings up the morale.

Foundex has a big business game with a family business feel.

I truly enjoyed working for Foundex. Excellent company that stands behind and supports thier employees. Many companies could take a page out of thier books on how to treat employees. 

Work like a dog earn decent money however pay tops out quickly and If you are a hard worker you will remain in the same position due to the fact good helpers/drillers  are hard to find and a schedule is non existent here. Great coworkers but generally everyone’s pretty sad.

One of the best companies I have worked for. On site job long hours good pay, followed the OT procedures. Supplied with work truck, people were easy to get along with, kind, helpful.
