Four Points By Sharaton

I worked for this company for 6 years before COVID hit. I've always loved that within this company I was able to develop meaningful relationships with both other staff members, as well as our customers. Our management team was always very understanding, and did what they could to ensure their staff felt comfortable on shift. Management also made an effort to praise their staff fir their hard work through incentives such as 'employee of the month awards' ($50 cash). Hours are flexible for the most part, and staff receive meals for $3.00 (taken off your pay for each shift worked that period). Employees receive benefits for being full-time, and all employees regardless of status receive international hotel discounts. Uniforms weren't the greatest, but also could have been a lot worse. Pay was average. Very professional environment.

Yes as I have been worked with them at Four Points Sheraton Mississauga last one year

There were no stressful feelings on my end

The working environment was marvellous and familiar at work with

That’s I missed all of them as we were feeling that we missed my family

I came on board at a time when there was a legal battle between the previous owners and the management team. I was hired by a temporary management team that was assigned while the case was ongoing. Under this team, I learned a lot. It was stressful with so many things going on but the people I worked with were mostly nice and supportive. Unfortunately, the old management took over and they didn’t need “too many staff” and gave most of us one day work in a week! 

As a former bartender at Four Points by Sheraton, I had the opportunity to work in a dynamic and fast-paced environment that truly honed my customer service and bartending skills. The team was supportive, and management emphasized a collaborative atmosphere, ensuring that we always had what we needed to deliver great service. The guests were often a mix of business travelers and leisure guests, which made for an interesting and diverse workday.

Worst place to work for. GM always joked about working us like dogs. So much work you wouldn't believe it. Sometimes cleaning 30+ rooms a day because they don't know how to manage or hire new people. The good employees are worked to the bone till they are burnt out and forced to quit because they mentally cant handle it anymore. Very toxic place to work. But oh you get a free lunch once in a blue moon, cool. 

I had a great time working here for 3 years, the fellow employees are great but some of the bosses aren’t so nice. I never caused any issues and for some reason my boss still didn’t like me, hearing rumours about my boss saying stuff behind my back about me and other great employees is not appropriate for a supposed “professional work environment”. 

A nice team, good supervisors, bad team management.
No time to finish  your board, too many rooms for clean for one person.
Often you don't have the tools that you need to clean the rooms properly.
No tips.
 Lunch is not included,they just give you one T-shirt.

Was a good job to start out with and gain experience but would not do again. A lot of stress, needed more employees, and barely got breaks some days. 

One of the worst places I've ever worked at you constantly have to look over your shoulder cause you never know when someone will stab you in the back
