Fowler Metal Industries

Fowler Metals, is a nice little company that is somewhat fast paced and constantly growing, but not without the regular hiccups like most plants. 

A comfortable and friendly atmosphere is what I experienced. The facility is quite on-par with most small manufacturing plants. Somewhat clean and for the most part safe. They have a position for every level of skill. 

Growing and modernizing makes it tough for existing senior employees, as new hires come and go. In the few years I have worked there management seemed to be a revolving door.  

However, management was very fair in my opinion. Employees will never will be happy with pay rates and always want more since the beginning of time. Of course we want more, especially if we strive to be the best we can do. 

"Wages are based on regional pricing" is a classic phrase, most likely still used within Fowler Metals, regardless of your skillset, productiveness or dedication.  

Even though my relations with the company was positive, I chose to leave due to lack of compensation, lack of work (slowed to an almost halt, at the time), inconsistent and foggy path to even the possibility of "going up" in the company.

Management is a joke,people sleeping in there car every night and keeping there job while others watching Netflix on there phone all night and keeping there job. While people who were actually working and trying to better themselves with the trade of welding got fired.. if your on the afternoon shift and are not part of the supervisors click that all hang out together out back your are dopledoomed..Please

I work there till the start of covid never got my email back would still work there today great place I can't say nothing wrong about it  bbqs on long weekends management good co works are  good not much to say other than the pandemic sucked lost a job with that 

Owner is good. Hires stupid managers. They are constantly in battles amongst themselves to prove their worth which comes at expense to the workers. Night shift is a complete joke. Day shift is constantly working under pressure. Morale is poor. Safety is okay, but general health is not important. 

I enjoyed working there, started here after college and after 2 years was promoted to being a supervisor the management at the time was very personable and as the company continued to grow at a rapid rate and management changed is when I decided to move on.

Stay away they will hire you then get rid of you when it gets slow for no reason . Doesn't matter the time you put in or the effort they make you sign an agreement so they can terminate without cause  and if you don't sign you don't get a raise so you have to sign 



I was told I would get trained as a welder and recieive red seal certification before a mass lay-off. After beginning welding training I was withdrawn from it due to lower working hours and the company slowing down work. I was then laid off.

Production work but not enough time to complete the quantity and they need to allow employees to carry there own tool because of the tools that are provided by the company are not enough to make good quality products.

Place is a nightmare don't do it i was there for 2 years trust me. You are just a number at this place. Even if you are their best worker they will still get rid of you. They act nice but they don't care about you.


ok benefits. salary leaves something to be desired. h/r department is lacking. numerous times I have mentioned something to h/r and have not heard a reply its frustrating
