All they know is how-come they are not selling as many goods as their competitors.

Horrible warehouse management. Lots of items doesn't exist and/or quantity isn't there.

Computer system is so outdated that you can barely use it. (Still in a DOS based program)

Managers do actually brainless enough to ask employees why are we selling their items at so of a low cost which is what our competitors are selling for, plus jacking up the price quietly and hope their customers will not figure out

Only plus thing is other co-workers are willing to solve the problem together, but some will actually bold enough to give you their work to you to try to finish it

Working at Franklin has been disappointing to say the least. It feels like the division I am working in is chasing its tail, going around in circles. Work tools (software) are inadequate in most cases, working environment is depressing ( old furniture, overstuffed rooms, old building, etc.). There are no clear directions or plans going forward. There seems to be no willingness or interest in trying to improve work conditions, and as a result the company has difficulty in keeping existing talent, or hiring new one.

Still happy to have started to work with this site but one thing is certain: don't making any illusion if we stay or not,  the job itself is not complicated but the labor conditions are poor, no one respects safety , lax supervisor who doesn't care about anything,  a serious shortage of staff,  no one greets you, no one even looks at you. Maybe  the only  positive point, the experience of this company to give yourself an overview otherwise but is not really the right place to develop well ours skills 

boring job drove around southern ontario from falls to toronto delivering paper bags with electrical products  worked 8-430 dont  know why never got breaks, or lunch, was on move  constantly, management are  on there butts, sit all day in front of computer trying to sell there sheap product  that they over price by 50% job was not hard just boring ,learned how to receive , purolator ups canpar , fed-x  products

They pay decent, but that's it.
Management is non-existent, have no clue how unhappy it is to work within a branch.  Great for people that are close to retiring and are reactive only.  NOT a place for up and coming people in the industry.  Dismal and depressing.

It was okay, no real opportunity to advance. 

The pay is mediocre, always a promise of bonuses but the with targets that were rarly attainable.

Felt secure in my role which was nice but not that anyone cared if I worked there.

Offer extensive training
Owners are very approachable and concerned for employees well being.
I cant say enough about the support offered.


Good group of people to work with, company is progressive and is constantly making changes to all facets of the business to make the employee & customer experience a good one!

I enjoyed my time spent at Franklin Empire. The offer plenty of opportunity to advance within and support you every step of the way. I am glad I had the opportunity to work here.

Good atmosphere to work in. Coworkers are a tight nit group of friends that embrace new comers to the job. Chances of making a bunch of new friends/colleagues is quite high.
