I had the privilege of working at Fresenius Kabi, and I must say that my experience was incredibly positive. This company truly stands out in the healthcare industry for several reasons.

I’ve spent most of my career working in the pharmaceutical industry. This place is a mess and doesn’t compare to the real deal. The senior leaders are all home grown and not experienced.  Work life balance is non existent. Work from home was introduced but is highly controlled and limited. No flexibility to create own self scheduling, must be committed to the clock. Highly micro managed work environment. No trust in the employees. Vacation entitlement is not attractive, long wait for an additional week. Benefits are basic. The pay was ok.  Met some nice people that were supportive and helpful but overall people weren’t happy to be there everyday. I hope things get better for them.

Staff is not happy it’s 8 hours of negative feelings. Very stressed workplace and people can feel it. Lots of new people every week lots of people leaving the good staff leaves it’s too bad. The same people always receive the promotion and pay raises. The directors get treated better then the staff and we work harder and make everything happen day to day. Management is never wrong but they are. They call you on your days off if they have questions about work. No balance in schedules. My coworkers are a good team. Need to change some directors they have favorites and not always professional compared to othe companies. But the staff sticks together we understand each other. I like my coworkers.

I love working at Fresenius Kabi Canada. Everyone that works here is nice and welcoming and it has a very collaborative environment. There is a lot of room for growth within the organization. The company cares about it’s employees and shows it. The company is constantly celebrating employees accomplishment, both professionally and personally.  Fresenius Kabi Canada also has perks like free snacks and drinks and the galaxy office also has the best office coffee I’ve ever had. The building itself is full of windows, modernly designed and has an open concept that makes it never feel like a stuffy office. There is also a big emphasis on having a healthy work-life balance. I would highly recommend working for Fresenius Kabi Canada.

Coworkers are hard working, professional attitudes, well informed, team players, think on their feet, think outside of the box.  Makes working there a lot easier

The management's high expectations, unrealistic quotas verses time and available employees

Somewhat stressful, and regimented

I gladly put a lot of energy, and concentration into my work, however by days end
I am drained and fatigued, even easy days are hard

I absolutely love working for this company. From the supportive team environment to the opportunities for growth and development, I couldn't ask for a better place to be. Fresenius Kabi Canada is one of the worst employers in Mississauga's pharma industry:

Cons:
- Office in the middle of nowhere
- Awful processes.  Completely disconnected from other divisions
- Probation period is 6 months?  What?!? Not competitive with industry.
- Pay is far below average for pharma
- Leadership is homegrown  from the APP-CPP days.  Lacking credible pros.
- Constant micromanagement from a Manager with no clue


Pros
- Nice office
- Free coffee

Only work here if you don't have any better options.

The company listens to its employees and tries to change for the better. There are many changes going on but management is making sure that everyone is informed. My department is great but since I live far from office, the commute part is most challenging (2x per week).  Employees are friendly and willing to help with the best they can. Everyone understands the vision and purpose - Caring for Life. 

Fake promotions. Same people new titles, again. On repeat. Regular employees are nice. Office is nice looking but with extreme open concept no walls and the feeling of always being watched. Pay is ok but benefits and vacation not so great. Tight scheduling no daily flexibility old fashioned 9-5. Lots of negativity makes for exhausting days. Lean staffing. Good cause overall. Lots of new people.
