The management style and lack of training and development for employees is frustrating. 
Zero growth opportunities if you are not a part of their cult.
Its a group of old (and new) cottage country friends running the place like a mom and pop shop, If you are not a 'specific type' of person you will be treated cold and micromanaged until you quit. no matter how long you have worked here you will never feel appreciated or acknowledged. 
A few people are good but powerless. 
HR is two best friends running the show which is anything but professional, Nothing is private and confidential! 
You will be lied to when you go for your interview that there will be growth opportunities and hired at a low pay, once you get in you find out there are none! HR will make excuses like "the company doesn't know you as a so and so department person" even if you are qualified and were promised growth and training during interview. Its a trap! 
Don't waste your time here. 


A typical day at work was a fast pace environment since it was a production manufacturing fabricating dialysis device that save life.  A day was going pretty fast calibrating and testing and repairing the devices,  I learned a lot in this kind of field specially with engineering. I made a lot of friends After 8 years of service.  What I like from this company is the management was very flexible examples asking days off, leaving early for appointments.  The part I enjoy is being around good people and grow in an pleasant environment.

Scheduling of service team for daily activity. Corrective or planned. Coordinating and prioritizing patients requests for support services.
Coordinating and managing service team needs for assignments.
Managing inventory controls for parts and usage. 
I enjoyed working with the team on a daily basis although the hardest part was to schedule multiple assignments at short notice.

Bad Managers, Broken Equipment, Stressful Work Environment.
Their procedures don't make sense are really stressful if you need help. 
In training they tell you one thing and then another new thing happens. This place is rife with gossip and managers favor employees who go drink or cottage with them after work. if you have a life outside work you are looked down on.

I've been with FMCC for over 3 years and do enjoy my employment here, very supportive culture and focus heavily on productivity.

My issues only surround the lack of promotion path in the company in terms of IT. The department is very small and relies heavily on the US counter part.

The initial months of training are slow without being proactive. However, everyone is extremely friendly and loves to help answer any questions or provide necessary training to help you get going. Due to the established industry, it is difficult to find innovations and new opportunities to learn and grow.

the work place culture is very modern.

the hardest part of the job is sometimes the day is full with many customers you have to visit, which make a lot of pressure.

Communication within the company is bad. Too many people doing their own job without telling others, that needed to know, what was going on.

Co-workers were good for the most part.

My coworkers are all respectful and helpful. My superiors are supportive and appreciate our accomplishments. The salary is competitive and the best benefits I’ve ever had in any company. Our workplace is spacious and always clean.
