One of my best learning moments: 

I’ve gotten the opportunity to work for Fresh the vegan restaurant as a food prep chef, what an amazing team. Learned a lot there about working with one. Adapting to everyone and everything around is important to me. Making sure I’m a good fit for my team, and being humble showing my respect for everyone. I was very lucky to have lots of long hrs that kept me busy in life. Got to get up early five days a week, sometime more. That was the best feeling I’ve ever felt. The people I worked with were so amazing, they were all so welcoming and critical. Which helped me be a better person. If I could describe the people I worked with in one word it would be friends.

Like most restaurants, they only call you in when they need you during rush times and send you home when its slow. Head office does not support their workers. They only really focus on cutting costs even though they have all have a $500 credit each month to eat there. Meanwhile the servers have to split their tips with the line cooks so that they can get compensated for their low wages. 

It was a very stressful environment with very little opportunity for advancement. Breaks were frequently cut down to 15-20 minutes in an 8 hour shift. No feedback with regards to job performance, you're pretty much thrown in and expected to figure everything out. Clearly this is a profit driven company.

Sometime I might be stressful; however, as long as communication is clear, problem can resolved in a timely manner. Make sure to arrive on time as lunch and evening shift can be escalated quickly when orders arrive.

Good managers and team lead. Excellent place if you are looking to learn kitchen skills.
Its a fast-paced restaurant and you need to work very quickly with orders but its a plus point because we will get trained  for future. 

It is an easy work, can be very stressful if you do not like working in fast environment. It is very fun, you can learn a lot about kitchen in a month, and do your work very well after 3 months.

A little stressful but good. A little old fashioned. Lots of rules but you know what, it was wonderful. And it taught me many cooking skills. And how to work a job, generally.

Good place to learn kitchen skills for basic training and to learn fast. Good working environment lovely people, great benefits which is very helpful especially for dental.

Decent hours, decent support, I got to work with many other trans folks. While they're is trans healthcare in theory it can be difficult to access if you're not management.

Good work place and okay managers. They put so much pressure on you but it's because they're so stressed. Kinda hate the tipping system with the cards but it's good money.
