What is the best part of working at the company?
Culture, Exceptional people throughout the company, Approachable Management that considers ideas and suggestions. Processes evolve for the better regularly; there is no situation where it is said “this is how it’s always been done”, no regrets no actual bad days I truly want to work everyday. 

What is the most stressful part about working at the company?
Volume of work fluctuates , but over time we get better and better at managing higher workloads as a team and individually the most stress I see myself experience is due to my own expectations of myself which I can manage independently.

What is the work environment and culture like at the company?
Laid back, real, fun, people in the workplace all have unique backgrounds looks and personalities more so than any other work place I have been in. 

What is a typical day like for you at the company?
I manage my own tasks and files during a regular day. I catch up on emails calls and texts, collaborate with my team and other teams sometimes meet with clients and I utilize a both an internal internet based platform and a client Internet based platform keeping the client up to date on the progress of ongoing work and closing out jobs that are completed.

An absolute horror of a place to work. This place has the wrong people at management level and the CEO is blind to it. Best description of working here - overworked and underpaid. The expectation is that you do not have a life outside of the workplace and to work 24/7 around the clock with no additional compensation. You will even have to work while you are on "vacation". Good luck even getting a "thank-you". You will see more people come and go than you can change your underwear in a calendar year. Don't forget to constantly suck up to upper management, or else you will be stuck in the same position. Ideas are not listened to, even when they are better for the company's success. A good rapport with trades and clients, and consistently successful projects are not enough to get you anywhere.

The time I was hired to this company. I really felt welcome, my coworkers, and superiors are really nice and easy to work with. They have been supportive to me, specially during my training period. Teamwork is very present.

Management have been generous to their employees. I’ve experienced that first hand. They gave us an extra 1-day off, last Christmas, to enjoy and spend more time with our family. I’m enjoying the health benefits provided by the company now.

Lastly. I loved my job, specially working in the comfort of your home, which is very convenient for me. Thank you for this opportunity. Continually spread the good vibes and always be fresh.


The people are treated fair here. If you work hard and show your talents off, you are given opportunities to grow. When you are dedicated to providing results, you are recognized and presented with new challenges. 

The industry and demanding work pace is not for everyone, it is a fast paced, think on your feet environment with short turn around times. It is extremely satisfying to complete your work at a high standard for clients. There is great satisfaction in a job well done!

You do not get what is promised. If you're not related to the family running the business or a favourite of the CEO, don't bother. Misinformation and constant back and forth between managers leaves you wondering when you're doing a good job or when you're not which seems to be more often than not.

Not to mention the HR issues including racism, harassment and nepotism that gets swept under the rug.

The people there were mostly great and the redeeming quality to working here. 

Worked with 6 other wonderful employees. Family like atmosphere, the owner of the company was fair, loyal and very easy to work for. 
I dealt with techs throughout Canada and USA, co-ordinating jobs; ei. plumbing, glass repairs, locksmiths, electricians, etc.
The hours were good, and there were many company outings together in order to keep everyone close and friendly with one another. The hardest part of the job was when we were on call, we sometimes had to deal with work calls at all hours of the night.

Detailed training, but workload can suddenly increase 10x, company did not do enough to offset the stress of emergencies and overnight on-call shifts, and company backtracked on allowing remote work, adding 3-hour Toronto commute time to an already tiring day.

I strongly believe that it makes more sense to have a couple of employees full-time committed to remote/overnight shifts, so everybody else can actually rest when they leave the office. You don't want people doing this job while in poor mental health.

The company is very accommodating with schedules and promotes a great work life balance. The hours are flexible an you can work from home or in the office. Management and coworkers are very friendly and approachable.

The job can be busy and stressful at times, but you are never left alone and have support from your coworkers. 

The company always seems to give back to their employees by offering health benefits, paid lunches, home office equipment, etc

Please stay away from this company ! lots of travel is expected with no extra compensation, you will be working day and night on a fixed salary. CEO has people that she gets inside information of the employees. If you talk bad or complain about the company, she will KNOW. 

The pay is very little compared to the industry standards. The turnover of the employees is so high that i have never seen before. Avg duration that an employee works here is no more than 6 months.

Working at Freshco was by far one of my favorite jobs to ever work. As someone who was familiar with facilities but not completely adversed in the trades, I found the training to be very fun and educational. Teamwork is encouraged there and trainees/management are helpful. Very fast paced and a lot of hard work but very rewarding.
