What is the best part of working at the company?
There was no formal training in place. You were expected to train yourself for the job. Management was not approachable, and discipline unwarranted given the working conditions. Worst experience in my life.

What is the most stressful part about working at the company?
Everything. From the moment I was hired I was not trained the way I should have been. After having no formal training myself I was expected to train new hires, next to impossible when your not trained properly yourself from the beginning.

Management was set in their ways. Unapproachable, not open to change, refused to listen to complaints which would not have happened had their been a proper training from day one. 

Employees are not friendly which made me uncomfortable so I ate in my car. Not a good environment to endure do not work here!!!!!

What is the work environment and culture like at the company?
They are one big click, most of the staff have worked together for a great many years. Their tenure is evident as they stick together freezing out new people. I think they go through a great deal of new hires which is understandable when they are not treated that nicely from first point of hire.

What is a typical day like for you at the company?
It was stressful. We never knew if our equipment was going to work. It often broke down which became time consuming when we had to call maintenance and wait for them to show up, or fix it themselves. That in turn ate into the amount of time to complete the work.

Co-workers are the absolute best.
Management is stuck on policy -- nothing is negotiable unless it serves their purpose. Very little flexibility, complete inattention to staff requests, everything comes from the top down, no positive guidance from supervisory personnel, you get the idea. 
Equipment and facility could use an upgrade. 
GMP is tossed around as a concept but enforcement is lacking when issues are brought to attention.


This is my first job in Canada being a new emigrant. I came across a lot of negative press on social media about how new migrants struggle to find their first job after landing. Freshstone Brands however do not suffer from the same stigma as social media would have you believe. 

It is an inclusive and supportive organization where I am have been given the opportunity to share my professional experience and be part of a team that believes in team work and collective success. 

After recently joining Freshstone Brands I have seen the great deal of potential the company has. The facility I am at is very dated but going through a major upgrade being pushed forward by the C-Suite. This definitely comes with a territory and understanding that you need to be creative, hard working, collaborative, intelligent and willing to pivot at a moments notice.

It’s a thankless, stressful place to work. If you do a good job you’re rewarded by picking up the slack of everyone else not doing their job. It was a better place before they started allowing people from temp agencies to come and work there. The new owners are terrible and treat you like a number, just another sheep in the herd. 
1000000% would NOT recommend this place to work for. 

Very nice team, with clear goals and everybody is supporting each other to achieve the targets, with the continuous improvement mindset.

Joined FBI just under a year ago.  Management has undergone major changes in the past year, and the new team are experienced and engaged. There are many opportunities for employees to grow their careers and participate in exciting projects that will continue to transform and improve the business.

they expect to much work from their employees. the pay should be more for the jobs you know. Some people are friendly others not so much not very welcoming and accepting. Most days are very stressful not knowing how the day will turn out like call ins, short raw materials and having to stay late to finish the product run.

bad work place.not given you enough time to learn the job before they let you do it its more on crush course training,to much problem happening on a single day,asking to much on an 8hours day

Management changes hands frequently. Alot of firing and hiring.

What is the most stressful part about working at the company?
Unrealistic expectations with no resources.

They don't believe in culture.
