Enjoy working with my peers & meeting new customers. A typical day at work would entail scanning bar codes at the desk for customer payment on products purchased, assisting customers in locating a product, preparing estimates, flagging for forklift whenever required. Every day is a learning process with product knowledge & dealing with a variety of customers. The hardest part of the job is time management especially during the busy season when everyone seems to want everything at once. The most enjoyable part of the job is dealing with friendly knowledgable customers who know exactly what they want or need.

The day depended on where you posted that day, i was bounced around from area to area performing multiple different duties. While working in Kitimat for them i did a bit of cladding on the new smelter buildings at Alcan, and formed roof sheets with the foll former in the pallet storage building. Assisted the company teamsters with the transportation of roof sheets, and wall panels. Management wasn't reliable, and didn't always treat there employee's fairly, which was the worst part of the job.

The crews I worked with were really good and production was really good but the management team had no idea of the application of the work and had unreasonable expectations.  They had a QC manager that had no idea about cladding and safety officers that had unreasonable expectations for doing the jobs properly due to lack of experience in cladding. Management also played favorites and made examples of those who spoke up about poor safety supervision.

the days were 10 hours on site. we worked great as a team but management seemed confused at times and would have us building and tearing down the same scaffold at times and it would be frustrating as management would just have us go ahead and build or tear down before the job was confirmed which made a lot of unnecessary work. it would get really hot on site in the Summer and getting a cold drink or even a drink at all could be a challenge some days.

Joined during a rush where they hired extra staff to add a night shift to get over a rush of work. Worked 8 weeks total, 48 hrs per week for first 4. Management was friendly and the foreman was very competent and knowledgeable. Safety was a priority and I did feel I was in a healthy environment.

The management could have been better work life balance was great 37.5 hour work week was awesome. Pay was good until they wanted to put 3 peoples jobs on one person without paying them for it…. Company overall was a great place loved what I did

All in all a good experience.I met a lot of good people and learned a lot about my trade and the pros and cons of certain aspects of camp life.Happy to have had an opportunity to gain more valuable hours.By far the best company I've worked for.

I like woring for FUller austin as it has provided me with a place of employment fo the last 8 years. I have moved up into a supervison role and done everythign from aprrentice work to superintendent roles. I look forward to what the future brings

As Project coordinator, I performed various administrative tasks. These tasks include filing project documents, creating and maintaining project schedules and compiling summaries for those who were involved.
