Managers  play a major role on assisting the field staff daily with many tasks very helpful

Hardest part of the job sometimes supplies or delays which happen due to the change is  design these are to be expected.

As a 1st level at 35 years of age, working with a group of younger journeymen I find that they are more respective towards you and with helping you in daily tasks to show that we are a team. 

The management are friendly, they understand that you are an asset to the company and not just a number. 

Each day for me is a new day of learning and changing tasks to gain a bigger knowledge of electrical.

Great job with new tasks daily/weekly, good exposure to all different types of electrical work.  Good group of technicians who are easy to get along with and help each other out. Good life/work balance and a company vehicle provided which is a bonus considering gas prices today.   

Would strongly recommend G&K Electric as a workplace. Tons of opportunity to learn and grow within the organization. Multiple other companies reside within the building. Lateral movement between each company is also an option.

With a wide range of clients and jobs we perform I'm always learning new things. No day is monotonous or a repeat of the day before which helps with motivation and ever feeling bored with the "same old stuff".

G&K Electric is a great place to work and learn the trade. From working on bid commercial projects,  industrial projects, and service. I am always working on something new to me and challenging.

Doing service calls.
How to work around different problems and problem solving.
Teaching apprentice how to do work and solve problems.
Meeting people on the service calls.
Writing reports is not a plus.

I enjoy the wide variety of different tasks and skills I have learned throughout my time at this company. Everyone helps each other out and helps each other grow in this field.

G&K Electric is a great place to work. Everyone is very friendly and their office is in a great location. They also offer their employees a great benefits plan!

The owner is really nice but easily influenced by the CEO. CEO is super toxic and the whole atmosphere of the building is like a dark cloud. So happy I left.
