This company is just like every other security company who treat their staff as uneducated low level citizens.  Paying a few pennies more than minimum wage to ask a person to work at a hospital is insulting. Don't trust the ads for employment because they are automatically generated to entice future employees. Management is a joke. You can stop a trespasser, or help someone in distress and no one will bat an eye, but God forbid you can't make it to work in an emergency. You will get contacted by every department simultaneously. I contracted covid at one of their sites and they showed 0 empathy until I got my positive results to show them. Communication is highly lacking and even when you put it in writting they will still find a way to twist your words. I'm not saying not to work for them but  just have an exit strategy in place , know your rights as an employee and don't let anyone bully you (they will try). Just remember if you dropped dead tomorrow they will find someone to replace you immediately because they do not value their guards. Go in do your job, find another job while working for them and leave.

Being a screening officer is a pretty cool gig! As a screening officer, you get to play an important role in maintaining security at airports and ensuring the safety of travelers. It's definitely a job that requires attention to detail and the ability to handle different situations calmly and confidently.

All in all I enjoyed working here, I miss more than anything my first posting which was at CAMI Assembly. My co-workers there were great people and most I would even call them my friends, I truly miss working there.
My last location at Dr.Oetker was very nice as well and I miss the friends I made there as well but I found the pay extremely lacking which ultimately lead to me leaving. I thought by accepting the move to Supervisor would mean better pay but unfortunately that depends solely on where you are posted. The increased stress and responsibility did not reflect upon the paycheck.
However that being said, the management at the main office are solid people. They will treat you with respect and kindness if you put the effort in and will offer the postings that do pay very well to those that worked for it, when or if they become available.

Very nice helpful management and your job are secure no harassment pay very good comparison to other security companies environment on work site very good all employees are helpful and they teach you what you need if you have some problems at site immediately they respond and send help as requested and this company always worried about safety of their employees and give regards to your work they always appreciate for good work  they also arrange training workshops and new techniques lessons and CPR free training etc

There were a lot of different sites to work at and they also had good management.

I worked with G4S for a little over a year until I got a permanent site. When I didnt have a permanent site, I would be working on average 3-4 days a week (while also denying any Walmart or Safeway sites) and they would give a temp site to work at for 1-3 months. 

I worked for G4S for 4 years in total. I worked at 3 different permanent work sites and about 40 different non-permanent work sites . The tasks you have to do at every site vary, but overall, working for G4S was a pleasant experience.

This place is not a good place to work for, even though they changed their name to Allied Universal,  it's still a bad place to work for the management and call center are very unprofessional, even if you're off sick from work and have a doctor's note they terminate your employment. Pay rate is subpar  to very poor. Treat you like slaves.

Over the four years I worked as a guard for G4S there was never a time when management or scheduling had it together. I was lucky enough to have have a supervisor that went above and beyond to make being chronically under-staffed bearable, but most people in the field do not care about what they are doing and it shows, top to bottom.

Luckily I ended up at a site with an amazing supervisor who encouraged my growth and greater opportunities outside of the site. Seemed like if you didn't have a good supervisor to advocate for you, you fell between the cracks and upper management didn't really care too much. Over all, wasn't a horrible employment experience. Standard security company

Fun to work, excitement on different posts, need to be updated with the surroundings.  The management is quite helpful if they need you, they are nice but a bit slow in processing documents and all. Hard to contact.

Terrible morale. Staff are treated poorly - overworked and underpaid. Senior management is highly unprofessional and more times than not, disrespectful and unethical. If you're looking to be more than just an employee number, don't work here.
