This agency Great Connections, accepted my resume, went for training at the Company hiring.  Training was great, passed. Got an email to send in documents, was told to wait for schedule start date. been over a month. Emailed to ask if job was still available. no response from either recruit. Now i'm wondering if they used my information for someone else. when working with an agency , the company does not ask for ID upon arrival. I will be making a few calls to make sure there aren't any identity thefts. 

I am working as a Recruiter Intern in Great Connections Employment Services. I am assigned to duties and responsibilities regarding all Human Resource Practices and policies. The more i like to work here more i urge to get knowledge, which is actually more than to ask for an Intern moreover, i get all kind of information that i am willing to know and perform as daily basis.

The recruiters that work at the Scarborough office are the absolute worse, very rude. I went in for the first time and was left standing for so long none of them would look up to address me when I finally got a response from one of them she just pointed to the registration room.
They treat people like there are nothing, the environment is cold.
I wish the government would step in to clean up all these agencies runned by these horrible people.

I love this company because if they have a job for you they let you know immediately, on the other hand they have got some flaws such as not considering part time workers, and their English structure/communication is not so good. I've never had an issue of not been paid, also they are very responsive.

Recruitment is tough; it involves long hours, unpredictable challenges, little work life balance, and you have to always be 'on'. But that is the business, you cannot explain if you choose recruiter as your career. 

GC team always supports you and will make recruiting process fun and easier.

This company took registration fee, photo ID, went through almost 60 plus pages of Safety and Health regulations, and never called back for jobs or interviews.  In my opinion, this company seeks a certain kind of employees.  When I called back they said they had no records. 

Be careful of paying registration fees!!!

An aerospace company in Haley is using this company and a few others to find SCAB workers to cross  a strike picket line in a labour dispute. You might want to do research on scab workers. It is a disgusting tactic trying to undermine contract negotiations.  I would highly recommend not working for this company during a strike.

I worked with a company that tried to ensure that the committed employees were guaranteed work even during slow periods.  Everyone was treated equally and we looked forward to going back the next day.

Thank you GC for finding me a great light packaging job. It's a fast paced environment but light labour work. Working hours are stable overall. The working location is convenient and easy to access by bus.

They send me to a great company, now im a full time employee of magna international. A good start for me as a new immigrant to this country.  

don't take it personal if they don't have time to talk to you that long because they are very busy and always on the phone.
