under paid for work, no clear leadership or support as you cannot contact anyone in HR (which is in Quebec) unless your manager okays it and then might arrange a callback, massive favoritism because its not what you know but who you know that keeps the job of several extremely lazy under average inept leads/managers, lay offs to encourage the less popular to move on, wages/raises depend on what the Quebec workers union accepts despite Calmar location being non union (think 13 cent raises) if you are under their wage cap and no perks offered as equivalent to the no raise if you are at cap beside every couple of months they try and buy you off with free lunch or leftover promotional merchandise

Payday is the best part of working here,  along with the free workout. 

What is the most stressful part about working at the company?
Coworkers,  HR, poor management and awful workplace environment. 

What is the work environment and culture like at the company?
Toxic work environment, filling out reports reporting it doesn't help.  Even reporting it to upper Global managers won't change this.

What is a typical day like for you at the company?
Very physically demanding job, must endure alot and have a thick skin to work here.

A culture revolving around the high attrition rates flourishes. With it's poverty level wages, expensive "benefits" package, micromanagement , harsh manual labour, contempt of it's work force, the docking of a half hour pay for lunches every day, too many people at the top in Quebec making well over $100,000 per year with no trickle down. All with management ingratiating themselves while blaming the work force for the position they find themselves in due to too many CWB claims.

Avoid at all costs unless you're at rock bottom. They will hire anyone.

If you are a favorite, u will fit right in. You can advance if they like you. You have a better chance if u are friends or relatives. 
Teaching and explaining the job to you is horrible. You are shown quite fast, if you need help it is very sparse. 
Quite high turn over. If you want benefits, you have to wait 6 months. 


Long hours, terrible pay for the work, physically demanding and almost zero room for advancement. 3 total promotion opportunities, being operator, lead hand and foreman. All take considerable amounts of time. Only one lead hand and foreman makes it so you basically cannot get promoted.

I would recommend this work for any body, management is very great, and helpful when you need anything done correctly or to adjust any work. The work ethics are very great also.

Enjoyable work place, supportive people and very friendly. I learned new things everyday with the help of my co workers. It was a really good learning experience and really good environment to be in.

You will have great success if you are a bully and dog maker, plus you don't care about your health. Lots of family related employees. Insert music for inbred hillbilly here.

It was fast paste , respectful supervisor , co-workers as well , decent pay , good hours , steady work and it was inside so it was warm . this was during the winter so it was perfect .

A great place to work, have fun while working, great condition and opportunity of growth if it's what you're seeking. Easy process and good teamwork!
