worked here for almost a year would pick up shifts constantly when management asked because if not management will give you the worst shifts we were constantly understaffed owners are rude and management will give you a write up without letting you know or having you sign any papers they also are always highering even when business is slow just to let those poor people go management also always talks behind employees back management also tends to pick favorites by picking and choosing who to write up and fire not the ones who don't do the work and deserve to be let go the only upside is the schedule is flexible for students altho you will constantly get asked to pick up someones shift  coworkers are very nice and funny people to work with they all bond on the fact they all hate their jobs the owners and management and have no clue on how the place manages to stay open franchising will hurt their business I guarantee it

A typical day at work would usually start with you cleaning up the colossal mess the last shift's team had left behind for you and then restocking literally everything they left empty. I learned that management did next to nothing and nobody did inventory. The coworkers themselves were excellent until they lost all will to be motivated due to the lack of any positivity in this workplace. I was not comfortable feeding the food served here to my friends or family. I was the only employee there with Food Handler Certification and I was obviously not there 24/7. The free daily staff meal wasn't even worth it because you just got so tired of dealing with the resulting food poisoning.

I've been working at Globally Local for almost 2 years.  The company has done some really innovative things for our industry and continues to innovate and improve on a regular basis.  I love the excitement of working for a cutting edge company, and knowing that things tomorrow will continue to evolve in a positive way.  There are lots of opportunities for advancement if you want it,  which is great since they do so many things like producing their own food or running the food truck.  Management is supportive and caring and works just as hard as the other employees.  Staff all follow strict food handling procedures.  The food is amazing and I love my free meal everyday!

Some of my coworkers are amazing people, however we don't get a say in our availability no longer and the owners are very rude and mis treat staff especially our supervisors. Quite often we are under staffed and things are not ready for the next shift. Its a very easy job,  straight forward and very happy customers. Great place to start if you were looking for a first job. Staff very willing to help some of our younger employees.

Do. Not. Apply. They treat you like you're nothing and expect you to do so much. No laws are followed, or they are to JUST slide under the rug. Sure, you get free lunches when you work which is great. Many employees were fired in the year and a half I worked there, and yet we were always under staffed. The supervisors have no formal training and the management does not care about what doesn't get done. Owners and higher ups don't know anything about what goes on and they don't care.

After working here 6 months I can tell you I honestly feel like Im taking part in saving the world.  Can you say the same about your job? Get on the bandwagon people! We need serious changes to save our planet and Globally Local is doing something about it.  *Perks* we get awesome tips, free meals, flexible schedule, amazing customers, super cool owners, celebrity spottings at the restaurant. lol.. this is seriously my dream job.

Ive worked in a lot of kitchens and was pleasantly surprised to see the level of equipment used to cook food at this restaurant.  The fryer is crazy  high-tech so the job is so much easier and we can focus on what we love to do which is take care of customers.  I love these customers too they are so nice and you really feel like your making a difference working for a vegan restaurant that wants to make positive change in the world 💜

I started here a few months ago and am really impressed with how organized they are.  The have a great online training program that they pay you to do at home!!  They have a great manager at the store and also corporate managers that are easy to talk to and helpful when need it.  Not something Ive seen alot of in this industry so Im impressed they have all this here.

I loved working here!  It was really fast paced and challenging but the way they cook the food makes it pretty easy.  I wouldn’t suggest working here if you don’t deal well with stressful situation as it can get really busy sometimes and the management expects a lot from staff.  I enjoyed the challenge though.  I left because I wanted to focus more on my school, but loved working for a vegan company that shares my morals.

Ive worked at 3 different fast food restaurants in my life and this is by far the best place to work at.  They are totally flexible with my school schedule and let me set the times I'm not available to work at.  The people i work with are awesome and the customers are usually pretty rad too. Overall great place to work especially if you want to do good in the world.
