GO NISSAN NORTH

Since beginning my career at Go Nissan North I have learned so many new things. I began as a service advisor/appointment coordinator where I booked appointments for customers, supplied them with quotes for vehicle maintenance, opened and closed work orders and coordinated technicians with appropriate work. I then moved up to reception where I answered phones and transferred customers to the appropriate person in the building. Since beginning my school year I moved to auto detailing where I clean new and used vehicles for delivery, clean lot vehicles, stock cleaning products and take care of the over all maintenance of the wash bay. All employees at Go Nissan North work together to create an amazing family atmosphere, we work together to make sure every customer leaves happy.

The dealership service manager lacks leadership skills. Talks down to his employees. Manager puts a demand on how much you should be producing in a month, but doesn’t give the resources for you to produce such hours he requests. He generally is in a bad mood and has a negative attitude which does effect the staff. Staff will tend to avoid him as he is not helpful when it comes to issues revolves around the dealership. He is not understanding to health issues employees may have and puts pressure on you to ignore said health issues. Lastly he doesn’t seem to care himself about the dealership running smoothly, lacks communication, and ignores hard work.

Good benefits, decent pay, and very pleasant people to work with. Some stores have it bad on the management side, it is touch and go. Employee turnover rate is high here at this store because of one particular person. Not all go auto stores are bad though. Do some research, talk to the employees if you can. Almost all of us would be happy to strike up a conversation with someone if they asked.

Disorganized management and poor decision making skills make it very difficult to work for. Promises of “all the hours you can handle” but there are many days where techs were going home at 2:30 due to lack of work, or having to stay until 7pm to finish work that was overbooked.

Holier than thou facade. Favouritism and biased towards certain employees. Inconsistent and time consuming. You slave away for ten plus hours six days a week. If you work seven they won’t say a word either. No life outside of this place. Drama and mess. If you want some sanity do not even consider.

I enjoyed it. Just better when busy of course. The people I worked with were really decent and everyone wants to succeed. Management was not overbearing and it still had a "family" feeling when I was there.

Nice store clean and well designed but advancement  within the store was always promised and never delivered not just with my self so that result in high turn over.

Amazing place to work for, you talk to customer and find their needs and do anything in your power to make them feel at home. 
its always fun working there because you meet new people every day

The constant change of management and bringing in their own people to replace those already in that position and then terminated with no remorse 
The philosophy there any one can be replaced at any time no matter what

Use to be a great place to make a living but has now spiralled into a high stress and soul sucking work environment, past couple of month i was really unhappy coming into work.
