What people don't understand is that if you don't have a car, it gets hard for you to take transit to your locations, but dispatch works with you, one of the few traffic control companies that lets you do that.  
You'll get a daily dispatch that you need to confirm with a cellphone
You'll need to get to your site on time
You might NOT get a chance to sit for lunch only toilet breaks 
Lots of helpful supervisors drive around all the time
Long but helpful orientation before you begin work, they wanna make sure you know who to call when in trouble and let you know all rules and policies
They have a ugcares hotline - call that phone number with all your questions from payroll issues to benefits
They are fair and if you are unsafe or don't follow worksafe policies, they have no issues letting you go
I enjoyed the support - they all know what they're doing in that office

I enjoyed working for go traffic never had a problem with 
lack of work.
 typical day:
woke up got called in went to which ever site i was required to go to
for that day,
work the day, generally 10-12 hrs 
didnt get breaks often so always prepare to eat while working
the hardest part of the job was the lack of breaks. especially if i drank alot of coffee that morning, however i always had a great time met new people and didnt have to deal with customer services type things.

What is the best part of working at the company?
Some of the coworker were the best part of the company and some of the clients .... the management team was horrible

Busy and stressful depending on the job site

Bad place to work.
I had absolutely no life by the time I travel to each job site then back home. Never is there any break relief or even a simple bathroom break. The other flag people are nice but the contractors you work with are rude and provide no assistance or help of any kind. What ever happened to working as a team for safety. I would not recommend this place for work.

Enjoyed my time there although it was short (9 weeks). Union so starting wage does go up and benefits after 3 mth probation. Only reason I left was didn't care for dispatch - hard to form good working relationships when you are always with new. If you like variety, this is your place to work as a TCP or LCT. I wanted to work with same crew(s) so left to work for a construction company .

Flagging is a tough job. Shifts are often 10 hours+, and breaks are not common. Go Traffic specifically, tries to be more accommodating than other such companies. I think they could do a better job explaining some of their processes and software. As a whole, they were a lot nicer than I was expecting.

Management are unprofessional and no experience in traffic control!! high turnover of dispatchers that make mistakes all the time! paychecks are wrong and a fight to make them right!

The company is an amazing company to work for they are very involved in the community ... they do alot for there employees and they do alot for the children as well

They gave me the hours I wanted. They were courteous and accommodating. They taught me what I needed. I was pretty happy with them. However, I could do slightly better money wise elsewhere. And I wanted more flexibility in the schedule.

loved working there everyone was all about taking care of each other i would tell people to try working there its a union job with great benifits, the hardest part of the job is getiing up early and stayuing late some times 16 -18 hour days on ur feet in all kinds of weather
