GONDOLA PIZZA

Worked as a cook and became a supervisor shortly after. Fairly easy job with some room to grow but you aren’t fairly compensated for work as a key holder/supervisor, definitely not a living wage. It can be fast paced which is a positive in my opinion but you often find yourself understaffed for busy days resulting in delayed orders which can be stressful. The staff discount is horrible at least when I worked there as well.

Worked here for just over a year until I took an approved month long break. Upon returning to work, I was informed that they couldn’t afford to give me any shifts and I was essentially laid off. I was the longest working person at my location other than the manager and I was thrown away after being granted permission to take a month off while other drivers that had been there for only a few months stayed and were given full time hours.

Taking phone orders, talking with regular customers, 1 out 10 might be grumpy but overall easy fun environment if colleagues and work team is nice especially if the manager is good. The chance of getting in is high if you are referred by a friend that works there. Lots of standing, walking and moving for 8 hours as the primary objective is to help kitchen staff and deliver pizza. 

downtown manager helps you develop into a great team player. Very friendly and supportive. Job experience depends if team is good, and downtown team is excellent. Location is a bit scary since downtown but doors are locked to protect staff and customers. 

working here i can feel my lifeforce being sucked out of my skull, its such a dry place to work i wouldnt put it on anyone to work here. due to the lack of employees i can never get any time off, and there aere constantly nwe people in the shop so i can never get anything done. do not work here.

This job wasn't ideal for my lifestyle. They opened the store at 4pm and most nights I would stay there till 11pm. I started as a cook and quickly got promoted to supervisor. I really liked my co workers and the food was good too! Parted ways with the company due to some changes that upper management was putting into place.

great place to work management was great it was family owned and the family who owned were great people. Working at gondola i learnt a lot i learnt how to take in phone calls and work the cash register and i also learned how to make pizza and prep a lot of food

Great place to start especially if you go to school.  Very flexible hours. No advancement or benefits. Low salary, but great tips. Management is great and everyone is friendly.

Working at Gondola pizza is very thrilling and amazing and I have learned how to communicate more with people and be more outspoken and I enjoy the fact that the employees are diverse in culture and even tho it gets busy on Fridays we all respect each other despite the stress of the work

Great work environment and learned a lot about the hospitality industry and customer service, the type of place where it feels like anyone can work just to gain the experience to adapt it in regular life
