The glitz and glamour of being surrounded by amazing super luxury brands is the allure.  Unfortunately, that is where the problem lies. The owner and upper management feel that due to that fact, people are totally replaceable and as a result treat them as such.  Pay and benefits are below the luxury industry average and the morale due to the high turnover is low.  

It was run as a "Mom and Pop" store when it was at the old Dupont location, but me being part of the team that transitioned them to Dundas warned them the culture had to change.  Being situated where we are, we have to be way more professional and treat the clientele we have coming in with more respect and better attitudes. If the upper management can't see the problem then trying to implement fixes is met with a stern "what for, we never had these issues in the past".   

We don't and cannot move the needle as the morale is so low. The revolving door has to stop and the staff has to be treated with more respect and decency.  Proper training and on boarding with management given time to mentor is paramount.

Worked there since 2016 as part of the management team and the dealer principal has never come to meet any of us personally.

What is the best part of working at the company?
Very Disappointing Experience

I had a very disappointing experience with this dealership. While the brands they represent are truly iconic and deserve to be showcased with pride, the overall atmosphere and leadership approach do not reflect that standard.

From my perspective, there appears to be a lack of cohesive leadership and customer-first focus. Morale within the organization seems low, which ultimately impacts both the staff experience and the customer experience. It was frustrating to see such strong brands represented in an environment that does not reflect their value or reputation.

I hope ownership takes the time to reflect and make meaningful improvements for both their team and their customers.

What is the most stressful part about working at the company?
Expectations, previous ownership understood how to treat customers properly, truly cared about his staff and the clients.

What is the work environment and culture like at the company?
Poor Culture, low moral, no support from upper management, both at the Calgary location and from the Toronto location.

There is a serious allure to working around high end vehicles! 

GTA has some of the most luxurious vehicles, "Best In Class".

The company prides it self on this motto, but as an employee working here it does not reflect that way.

Technicians had to strike-walkoff the job at one point to secure better treatment from management... 

Since then things have improved, but mostly just wage wise. No real sense of leadership from lower levels of management in service department. Some employees are highly favoured, while others unappreciated...

Respected is earned, not just given!

Very stressful and toxic environment with poor leadership.
Management is almost non existent as they prefer to scream and yell. The controller harasses everyone in the dealership.
The previous General manager from Waterloo who was removed amid numerous reports of bullying and s harassment
was recently brought back and promoted. That alone should say enough about this dealer group.

Overall a chill place to work depends who you ask. I personally had a decent time in Grand Touring. I believe there’s pros and cons to all places you work for, as long as you do your job properly, and are respectful you’ll be okay in Grand Touring. There will be people who are difficult but try to not take it personal. 

The worst management I've ever worked for. Total boys club and if you're not an old head there or giving up your life to them they treat you like dirt. Started getting anxiety attacks daily near the end of my time there

Just don't waste your time there because you won't gain anything there except disappointment. The management team doesn't know what they are doing and extremely arrogant. The culture is so horrible and toxic. Don't waste your time time there my friend. You deserve better than this.



This company is poorly managed and struggles with nepotism. It is a dead end job unless you are friends with the higher ups. Many mechanics have worked hard here only to find out over time that it is a very stressful and political environment. Flat rate pay and base wages to those not cozied uo to the foreman and managers.

In the new building there were many hazards to my health that eventually led me to resign. The most prominent being the issue concerning poor ventilation. When the carbon monoxide levels got high (which happened more often than not) the building was not set up to properly ventilate our work area.

The hours are great. The dealership closes at 6pm unlike before it was open until 8pm pre covid. Some people may be hard to work with but over all, every place mostly has those type of people you cant work with. Stay focused on your work, and all should be good. MIND YOUR BUSINESS.
