Cutting grass that didn’t need to be cut basically running mowers as fast as I could it’s a grinding job the faster u are the more u get an hour nobody seems to like to help out customers like maybe pull a weed or clean up the grass line an inch over concrete

Really enjoyed working here.  
Made good money.  Yes you have to work for it but at least you are rewarded for your efforts.  Got full time hours and had lots of long weekends so that was especially attractive with this job.
Owners are very organized and day to day work becomes very routine.  Company is well-established and provides good support.  If your goal is to make pretty decent money with a good work/life balance its a pretty good summer job.  Best part of the job is getting paid what you're worth.

When it was good, it was very very good. But when it was bad, it was very very bad. Problem was there was no warning or reason for when it got bad. Owners would not communicate things properly then get mad at you for not reading their minds. They like to give out raises, then get mad cause they have to pay you so much. Overall an ok summer job, but no real job security if they were in a bad mood.

Good opportunity to work as a team on all projects.  Learn about safety as the safety coordinator for all staff. 

Went to school for 16 months over 26 months and received some assistance from employer. 

I looked after the fine details on jobs while operating a lot of equipment as well as talking to customers. 

Was a great place to work!  Hardest part of the job was dealing with disgruntled customers, best part of the job was helping those people that needed our services and dealing with happy customers. Owners were  always approachable, and on hand to help.

Pretty decent approach to full time landscaping. Usually 4 day work week and decent compensation for the work you’re willing to put in. Lots of work to be done though but typical for the line of work was a minimum of 15 lawns cut and trimmed per shift, which is fairly fast paced. 

This was a pretty good job.  Steady hours.  Good pay.  Owners were good people to work for and were very helpful and understanding.  Good work culture.  Made friends easily there.  Not very stressful.  Ideal job for students and young people working towards their careers.  

Boss is stern but treats staff well.  Equipment and trucks are well-maintained.  Incentive pay system is awesome if you're a good worker.  Had several long weekends off which was really nice to have over the summer while still getting full time hours.

Best summer job I ever had. If you love being outdoors this is a great place to work. The fall clean up and snow shovel season was a good learning experience as well. I look forward to continuing my employment here.

The owners are amazing and really value their staff. Fun environment with the casual in house lunches and dinners. 
You learn a lot about Lawn Care! It can be really busy as it’s all year round services.  Well-Organized Team and fun owners/ family.
