I really enjoyed this job, a typical day would be followed by routine of getting the prescriptions ready for those who are waiting, making sure the work area is kept in working order and making sure that everybody is kept happy. Usually the days work depends on what the customers need.
This job really opened up my eyes to the experience that was available to me. It made me realize that there is a long hard process to get in to this force but I personally loved the job, loved the environment, and loved the employees that I have got the chance to work with. There was not really any hard parts to this job its pretty basic and to the point once the hardship of the college is through. I would not be able to tell you what the most enjoyable part was because I loved the whole experience. I hope one day I have the opportunity to be a part of this work force again !

A typical day involved working both the cash register and lotto machine, providing customer service, facing and stocking shelves and cleaning the store. I learned customer service and various computer skills, how to interact in a workplace environment and many life lessons such as responsibility, discipline, punctuality and time management. The hardest part of the job was how slow-paced it was. The store itself was not very busy and I enjoy a fast-paced environment with lots of work to do. The most enjoyable part of the job was both the customers and my coworkers. I genuinely loved getting to know each and every one, personally.

Great fun environment to work in. The owner was fantastic to his employees. Treated them better than gold. It was just as one big happy family. There was plenty of room for growth. The owner took initiative to hear the concerns of each employee. The environment peaceful. All employees knew their jobs and worked together as a team. Regular customers would frequent the store just to say hello even if not purchasing any products. It is TTC accessible

I have learned how to effectively handle money, how to properly talk to all different types of people of different temperaments and beliefs. Everybody is friendly, excepting, and helpful. The hardest part of my job is dealing with difficult customers who won't accept help the staff offer. I enjoy being around my coworkers, and have great conversations with them.

Guardian drugs was great to work at. I had regular customers and knew what they’d be getting and we’d chat up a storm. It was a relaxed place to work at usually, and the tasks can be summed up to cashing out, facing the store, and making sure that the money is where it should be.

learned and did  alot in 14 yrs, if management treated and respect me after 14 yrs...i'd be still there.
  customers were great with you, they got to know yah.....most of the co/wokers helped you went time got very hectic.

The front end girls constantly have something to say. They are often unwilling to explain why things are done a certain way and generally just make you feel terrible when you make even the slightest mistake. 

It's really the best of the best in terms of working in community pharmacy. Fillware is a great system, coworkers are always amazing, there's zero pressure or metrics.

But you'll never really ascend in the company unless you lock in and try yourself. You get out what you put in.

Started assisting the receiver and was eventually promoted to cashier. Helped stock shelves, received product and merchandised areas of the store. 

I learned customer service, organzational skills that have reached beyond aspects of any employment
