GYMNASTICS MISSISSAUGA

A typical day at work is very vibrant and very exciting. Every day there is something new. Between Camps, PA days, Evening Lessons and Open Houses, the days are always fun and always different. I learned how to become a leader. I learned how to talk to people of all ages. Becoming a coach and a surpervisor, you talk to not only the particiapnts, but the parents as well. Co-workers work together sometimes to provide the most fun for their group. They may combine their groups and have a gymnastic comptetion, a race or an obstacle course to make it extra fun. The hardest part of the job would be preparing for anything. There are many people in the gym and therefore, not every event that one desires to practice on will be open. This leaves the Coach in charge of making sure the group is always busy enhancing the skills of each participant, even if there is no event available. The most enjoyable part of the job is the fact that it doesn't feel like a job. Everyday I go in, I am having fun, I am doing what I love, since I was once enrolled in gymnastics lessons and I am interacting and making new friends every day.

Coaching at Gymnastics Mississauga was wonderful. The coaches all support each other, share techniques and skills and even do collaborative games and warmups with their students. The management is extremely positively affirming and will sometimes come visit you during class just as a friendly hangout. I loved working here and I highly recommend it  to Gymnasts, Athletes, and anyone who loves fitness and working with kids! 

•	Teaching entry level 1 gymnastics to 4-6 year olds.
•	Coached and supervised young gymnasts, and formally tracked their progress.
•	Communicating to parents progress of each child, as required.


I learned how to communicate with others very well, the most enjoyable part was watching your classes of students become better gymnasts and having fun. co-workers were very friendly and helpful.

Very energetic and active workplace, have to be very outgoing and creative with the variety of level of kids in each class. Being able to communicate with the parents about progress is very important.

although difficult at times, coaching was extremely dun and many skills were learnt. over time you connect with clients and over all is an amazing job to have!

there were too many people in the gym at once which causes many events to be unavailable for children to use. The staff was nice, however, the management did not care much for their employees.

The staff were very friendly and kind. I was able to work well with the paid counselors and the other assistant counselors . The children were fun to lead and did not cause any problems.

Great place to work! I have been working here for over 5 years and have not encountered any problems. The staff is all nice, and the children are fun to work with.
