Can only recommend this place if you love cars, love the idea of a paycheck, and are okay with being treated with disregard.

Communication within this workplace is abysmal, you will often be left out of the loop of important issues and then often left hanging or even given flak for not knowing what was never passed down to lower staff. This was a regular occurrence.

Lower staffs duties can change weekly, based upon management's mood, speaking of managements mood, prepare to deal with it..

Staffing wise its a revolving door, even lower management changes out. Since they opened their new location the company attitude has be incredibly corporate, conservative and micromanaged.

I simply cannot stress enough to all would-be applicants, this company is too okay with operating a revolving door business model that mistreats and burns out its staff till they leave.

They say people don't quit jobs, they quit managers and this is a text book case.

A sales job is essentially working for yourself. You get what you put into it. For those that take it upon themselves to learn the job and continually educate themselves- the sky is the limit financially speaking. 
Galaxy was an awesome company to work for. They gave you the tools and ability to make a ton of money and have fun doing it. Their inventory is amazing and they do go out of their way to try and make the cars like new before they sell them.
They have a good benefit package and provide access to a lot of free training programs.
It's a great job but you have to deal with a lot of rejection from customers. The more time you put into it though, the more money you make. The guys that stay there for a long time and cultivate their customer base can make a really good living.

If I could give a 0 I would. Started off as a great working environment. I seen a few things that you would not get away with in a large company. No work/family life as you work every weekend and sometimes on your days off. Management is terrible, hire people with no experience and they become a manager it’s a joke. Cut or be cut mentality.  
Don’t get  too comfortable because you are disposable. Keep your options open if you decide to work here because you will need it. It’s a revolving door of staff.  Terrible place to work! Do yourself a favour don’t apply.

Long days but good money for those that dedicate themselves to learning the industry. There is a wealth of knowledge at all the dealerships and those that listen well can move up fast in the company.The company stresses customer service and are not pushy and aggressive like many dealerships. Those that provide the best service, gain lots of referrals and repeat business which only increases your income. 
Moreover, their inventory is about as good as you can get in the used market.

Great job, if you want to EAT YOUR CO-WORKER and have no conscience!

Dog-eat-dog staff-culture, with management encouraging you to scratch your co-workers eyes out to get the sale!

You know it's a great place to work when all the managers and salesmen with any sense of pride or ethics, leave to other dealerships.

Very petty workplace drama all the time. Be prepared to bow down to the big guys. Don't even look at the GM wrong.

If you're a lot attendant, any issue will be blamed on you.

Loved working there as far as the actual job went, I had a problem that I took to the head office but was unacknowledged and even lied to about what had been done in order to try to 'fix' the problem. I wouldn't recommend for young women.

the owner (phil) is a awesome person and does bring food to the collwood store for staff as well as customers on saturdays.As for some of the managers I feel they need to be better at there people skills .the sales team are very good at what they do and the cars are priced right.

The drama that fuels management is toprate. Nobody actually knows what they are doing, and blame underlings for any failures. Communication is non existent. Pay only increases if you threaten to leave and even then they dont care if you do because employees are replaceable commodities.

Just run away !!!!! Managers will tell you what you want to hear!!  But do not open your mouth ! Or you will get fired. They will promise you a lot of things but they won’t do anything about that. Save your time, save your money and go get a better job instead.
