Galaxy Processing

Was hired as a QA for the outbound team.
First day on the job: Basic orientation, showed around the facility etc.
Second day: Stood around a lot and didn’t have a lot of hands on time. Trainer kept running off and didn’t explain what she was doing half the time. Told the QA lead I felt like I was standing around and she didn’t have much to say. 
Third day: Worked with a different lady (super nice) but she seemed to have cut a lot of corners and was careless with the product. She was the prime example of what not to do. She went for lunch and left me working on stuff I knew nothing about. 
I kind of had an idea but I wasn’t confident. She should have made sure I knew what I was doing before she went for lunch. However, the QA lead was 10 feet away from me and didn’t bother to come and check on me once. 
About an hour later I was called in the office and they let me go. For no reason at all. They said because I was under 3 months they didn’t need to give a reason.
So to sum up this specific department...
They lack leadership, training and communication.
I would not recommend working here at all.

I was only there for 4 months and quit day shift is always never doing their job leaving the afternoon shift to basically pick up the slack, management seems to find ways to get rid of people with no reason, work super hard with very little pay, always gives excuses for not giving you a raise, just overall not a good company to work please look elsewhere don’t waste your time with a company who seriously doesn’t care about you or your well being.

Afternoon shift management however they used to be so awesome my bosses were very good to me but again we are overworked and people get irritable and it reflected on the staff. This company needs to get better management the people are amazing there it’s too bad that their management style is the absolute worse.

My day at work was fun. I was in the department of shipping and receiving (unloading and loading trailers also order picking) fork lift license class 1,2 and 3. The management part was ok. I liked going to work because I was working with different cultures, different races. I'm general I had a good experience working at galaxie prosecing!

Loosely organized. Upper management very out of touch and non caring about the employees/managment below them. Equipment poorly maintained. Managment often uses intimidation tactics and people get reprimanded due to inherant issues with the computer system that was developed in house.

Very fast paced. People and management are cool and friendly. Management are laid back, but strict when needed. Loved working with everyone. Recommend

Worst stupidest place i ever worked worst management i ever seen work wise no set times for breaks or lunch not enough hrs a lot of the time people dont speak english save yourself the greif dont apply mangement choses only people they want to advance to much favoritism. Doesnt matter how hard you work there ridicules

:) I always try to keep a positive attitude to show how much i enjoy my job.
I am constantly congratulating others on their successes. when others need encouragement, i try and motivate them to keep improving.
one of my strengths is to that i keep my managers and coworkers informed of my work progress.

Great job if you're  into being overworked, underpaid, using run down equipment, receiving little to no training. Basically the place is a revolving door and if you don't bend over backwards they will fire you without reason. 

Galaxy processing is very disorganized, stressful, and overall very difficult to learn job duties due to lack of proper training. The employees are fantastic and reliable which makes for a good team environment but thats all.

I was so happy during I work galaxy it was nice working there the people the management the job I use to work was so nice.  I'm also hard worker fast.
