Working at Galderma was an interesting experience for anyone who would like to learn about the pharmaceutical industry and be a part of a multinational organization with good benefits and pay.  There were obvious barriers as they seem more interested in maintaining staff of primarily contract employees, which could be an effort to reduce the salaries and benefits they are required to pay out.  Or it could impact overall overhead costs and be a smart move for the company.  Although the company seemed extremely welcoming, if you are not French-speaking in Montreal, you experience a definite difference.

What is the best part of working at the company?
Loved working there under the old GM, but now with new GM, unnecessary restructuring and layoffs. New management doesn't care about its employees or talent. 

What is the most stressful part about working at the company?
Not knowing when you or anyone you worked with will be laid off. And you have to then adjust to an entire team with all new individual, when you had taken months to train the older team. 

What is the work environment and culture like at the company?
The work environment was good until all the reshuffling and restructuring.

Too much work too much expected and the “positive can do attitude” can only take you so far. 
So many changes in ownership and no appropriate processes in place. If you are told your doing something wrong and you ask for a guidance document or an SOP one does not exist. 
Super focused on the numbers and short on the strategic imperative. 
Care about their people .... kind of. Change over from Nestle to the new owners has been very bumpy. 

I managed the product line within a team.  It was an opportunity to relate with a sound production and packaging team that keeps the brand products. The process of identifying errors and ensuring the best finishes products gets to the Customers and the larger market was passionately my major role. I was careful, articulate and strategic in my final statement and decision to finalized product

Enthusiastic and driven work staff that add to the excitement of working at this wonderful company.
Learned a great deal of office etiquette and business understanding for the few months I was employed. 
An eventful and inclusive feeling accompanied to a strong ethical and passionate group of individuals with great insight!

There was no training and poor managment

What is the work environment and culture like at the company?
There was nothing to mention related to culture.

Don't like pushing papers. But the salary for an entry documentalist was decent. 18 an hr. Wasn't happy there. People were always snooping through my stuff in order to find things to tell the boss.

The team work strategy makes the job fun. The different people and color not minding the language difference has giving everyone the right of belonging the a system work place.

Great company with good benefits. Always place for advancements if you're willing to prove yourself. Possibility for overtime before or after your shift.

Great atmosphere, was in charge of unpacking and packing boxes of material, also was a machine operator, supervising the material that was made and making sure the machines worked properly daily.
