I would strongly recommend thinking carefully before working for this company. From my experience, the workplace environment suffers from poor management, lack of communication, and unprofessional behaviour across multiple levels of the organization.

Management frequently fails to communicate important information to staff in a timely manner, which can leave employees unaware of expectations or responsibilities for long periods of time. In some cases, important updates are either delayed for months or never properly shared at all, leading to confusion and frustration when work is later questioned.

There also appears to be a serious lack of professionalism within the workplace. Disagreements between management are openly handled in front of staff, and concerns raised through HR do not seem to be handled in a confidential or supportive manner. Employees should be cautious about sharing personal information, as confidentiality expectations may not always be respected.

The company overall feels disorganized, with leadership often making decisions without fully considering how those decisions impact employees and day-to-day operations. Team communication is inconsistent, accountability is lacking, and workplace standards are not maintained at a professional level.

If you are looking for a structured, well-managed, and professional work environment with clear communication and strong leadership, this is not the right place for you.

Working at this company has been one of the most mentally exhausting experiences of my career. From day one, it was clear that respect and professionalism were not part of the culture here. The environment is incredibly toxic, filled with internal politics, cliques, and favoritism. Constructive feedback is nonexistent, and progress or personal growth feels impossible.
Despite showing initiative and working hard, I was constantly talked down to and dismissed. The language used by some team members was often vulgar and inappropriate, creating a hostile atmosphere that made it difficult to feel supported. It didn’t matter who you were — there was a general lack of empathy, and people seemed to take pride in tearing others down.
This is not a place for anyone looking to build a healthy career or maintain their mental well-being. The emotional toll it takes on you isn’t worth it. I would not recommend this company to anyone seeking a positive or respectful work environment.

Office staff was mostly great, management was not. Incredibly sexist workplace (if you’re not a man your opinion doesn’t matter). Workplace issues aren’t taken seriously. Low pay, with minimal opportunity for advancement BUT you’ll get loaded up with extra tasks beyond your job description and won’t get compensated properly for it. Inappropriate language/behaviour in office, but used the excuse that it was “part of the industry” to justify it.

The coworkers were the best part. They all quit though.

The management and constant role changes were a complete mess

Management get mad a lot and never take accountability

If you are looking to get a paycheck every 2 weeks this place is perfect for that. The technicians communicate well and will advise of what they need and require from the CSR's. Unfortunately there is a communication break down with management and office staff.

When I worked there the days were very long with very minimal amount of help.  There was very little stock when it came to basic consumables needed for everyday installs. Lack of communication between departments led to a lot of problems on a day to day basis. 

I enjoyed my time there. But when I told them I had been dealing with depression and anxiety they did not bother to keep me on, even though they have company morals they so call follow. I begged to stay and was thrown aside and never spoken to again. 

Everyday is a great day to work here! Great place to work and get life going. They are committed to giving their customers their best and you can feel that the company strives their very best for their employees and customers 

The culture at Gandy Installations is fantastic, they are a family own business and treat each one of us like family.  Leaving a large corporation coming to this company was the best decision of my career and for my family life.  

Management is very understanding and always do their best to keep the workplace vibes good for everyone. My days are usually busy and its nice to know I can be flexible with my days if need be.
