Service company with focus on creating customers who are raving fans.  Sometimes an easy task, sometimes not, depending on the client's expectations and/or the condition of the garage.  Our sales team can design a dream garage which our install team can turn into a reality but it does take the right group of people sharing the same vision of happy clients.  Off-site labour is not a 9-to-5 job & some days will be longer, others will be shorter.  Management is aware of this and attempts to compensate with various bonuses and team-building activities.
In conclusion, a great place to work - not perfect but then what place is?

This company is not what they say they are when it comes to being a team.

Expect long hours, hardly any support, day to day changes, disorganized operations manager. More often then not you will be given tasks with little information, sometimes no training, and be expected to complete it. 

The work environment is individual (look out for yourself) attitude and not put others first helping out. 

This is not a construction company but a image driven garage up grade. No red seal ticket needed or opportunity for a red seal ticket with this job.

They bossss aren’t understanding and don’t really care much about you or what you’re going through they just care about production.

Awful and not a place I would ever work again.

Hard days long hours of Labradors work with little to no reward.

The work itself is not bad, and you will learn some valuable skills, however management does not seem to care for the personal safety of it's employees. Unrealistic time lines for jobs. 

They strive for a family-like culture, however in my opinion they fall very short in return for pushing employees too far.

Always felt like I can talk to anyone about anything here and feel heard. Great benefits and bonus programs. Open door policy so I always felt welcome by the operations team and management staff. Always speak what's on your mind here and they will work with you to help! Not to mention the work they do is unmatched.

There really isn't any benefits to working here

They treat you differently if you do not look like them and you get blamed for anything that goes wrong.

What is the work environment and culture like at the company?
Vultures best to stay to yourself

All they care about is about getting jobs done in one day. And when you run into multiple issues out of your control they still try and force you to finish the job knowing that floors will fail. Management sucks. expect 10+ hour days most of the time with little to no help. Do not work here, find a better place to spend your time.

I was able to to learn a whole new skill set from working at Garage Living. 

They take the time to train and develop you. You can be leading a truck with in 2 to 3 months

Management comments don't adhere to a respectful organization's code of conduct and it totally affects staff. It's the typical family business that totally damages employee morale, so forget about it and look for a better place.
