Overall, this is a stable and safe company to work for, especially for someone who values job security, predictable work, and the ability to earn extra income through overtime during busy periods. Although my title was Applications Engineer, the role was more focused on entering information into a pre-made AutoCAD system that generated drawings and ensuring orders moved through properly. Occasionally, there were custom jobs that required modifications in Autodesk Inventor when the AutoCAD system could not handle the requested change. In those cases, we had to make sure the changes followed company standards, and if a request did not make sense, we would consult the lead engineering team for direction. The job was straightforward but could feel repetitive. The main downsides were the lower base pay and the lack of a clear path for advancement. Benefits were above average for private industry, though still below what you would typically see in municipal or government roles.

It's fine if you are a new welder and want want to learn the basics of MIG, but that's where the training stops. Expect to only weld 3 products on rotation for many months, deal with lead hands who say one thing and then trying to listen to your actual boss who says the opposite, i.e being rushed and pressured by supervisors and trainers but then being told by boss + management to go slow and put quality above all. No opportunity to learn other welding processes, other metals besides mild steel, or learn skills outside of what the oldies know. If they do something, then it must be right, and there's no other way to do it. Overall very ignorant staff & unmotivating workload with nothing to work towards. Pay is good but money is irrelevant if you're spending 40 hours of your week being miserable.

I worked this company almost 11 years. From small Manufacture to new big building. The environment is very organize and easy to follow up in process. Most working time start at 7AM ~1530PM sometimes, you can work over time if necessary. The supervisor is very nice and talkative , if you have excuse reason not to show up you have to spoke to your manager or supervisor first. Sometimes, company will pull you to cross training to a new product. It can give yourself more challenge to see how much skills you can handle. The Rate start in average begin depends what skills you have in previous. During every year company will evaluate to each employees learning to increase your rate by the percentage of salary..

- On time, set the bench and follow up duties for that day.

-  I leaned a lot and I got lots of experience.  

- The management of company was very good.

- My co - workers were very help full and friendly, they were like a       family member to me.

- The first week of the job was the  hardest part of the job, I must   become familiar with every thing.

- The most enjoyable part of job, was when I got lay off from Zeller's  
   I find this job even it was for 3 month contract.

My first day of work was told by my supervisor this company does not pay well. So I asked to move to a different position that has the opportunity to make a decent wage. My supervisor told me he can't do it because of the cost of training. 2% max yearly raise. I came with all my own tickets and certifications yet would only get a 50 cent raise a year. Lots of promises to keep you but they never amount to anything. Stay away if you want a career or decent pay.

There is little to no opportunity for professional growth here. If you're looking for a dead-end job, this is an ideal place to start your career. Management tends to hire individuals with irrelevant expertise for decision-making roles, which leaves the team relying on someone who is often confused about the situation at hand. Despite this, they can be arrogant and belittle the team. I recommend seeking employment elsewhere.

Great environment for growth and challenges. Management team is flat and communications easy. Co-workers are very cooperative. The hardest part of the job is getting in touch with tough customers. The most enjoyable part is when you resolve a tough customer issue on the phone.

Mostly great people to work with.  Too many managers who never actually knew how to manage. 
Don't get on the wrong side of the president.  You will be gone shortly, even if you are very good at doing your job.
When they decide to let you go, they never give severance pay, calling it a lay-off even as they hire someone else who will replace you. They have no lya

One person to manage technical support, parts order, RMA, warranty orders, parts look up etc.
Dealing with the Custom electrical work
Dealing world wide with different nature of technicians,  some are very patience, some done have any patience and with vulgar language. Garaventa does not protect or provide any shelter to there employees.
