What is the best part of working at the company?
Horrible company,people. Bad work practices, favoritism and highly unorganized and extremely hostile on the job. Left me without means to provide for my family and home. Fired without cause and telling a new employee my own experience here at gator after asking for a raise over 1 year 3 months ago with no response but your fired!

What is the most stressful part about working at the company?
No communication, unorganized,poor safety practices 

What is the work environment and culture like at the company?
Hostile, an office of ever changing staff and inconsistencies. Missing pay and hours as well

What is a typical day like for you at the company?
A normal day would be 12 hrs of work over heaf patching, or traffic coating

Growing company with lots of opportunity. I started out as a laborer but was brought up to foremen and then even selected for a position in the office once my experience warranted it. Friendly and knowledgeable crews that made coming to work enjoyable even when the work was hard. The company is great at utilizing the latest technology for safety, which made it easy to access resources and keep everything up to date. They have the latest tools and materials to tackle a wide variety of unique projects. Fair pay regarding OT and benefits.

Provides the best PPE, and cares about their workers health and safety.

This company is growing.  Fast.   We have had a lot of changes in the year I have been here and we are learning as we go.  We have expanded our office team.  
I can easily approach the owners and management as well as staff in other departments (about 5 ft from my desk ;)) if I need help on an issue.
It sure beats my previous jobs on work/life balance.  The schedule for me is set yet flexible.  With kids at home, it's great to have the option to take the day to deal with medical appointments and be able to work from home if they are sick from school.   

They make it very clear that they only care about there customers and are willing to bend and break rules laws and values in order to protect themselves.  Works are expendable. They don’t want knowledgeable well trained personnel who are able to recognize there very questionable practices. 

They really try to treat employees fairly and its exciting to be a part of a growing team. Lots of opportunity to move up in the company and they do look internally first when possible. Very positive culture and they are a very safe, and well managed company.


Gators owners have to be the most down to earth guys I have worked for. They are highly motivated and like to see their workers succeed. They put time, effort and money into your success inside and outside of work. They are growing and there is never a shortage of work. 

If micro management was an Olympic sport then Gator would get the gold medal. Lower pay and higher headaches. Very little “training”. 

Honestly skip this company

No direction and no help and ridiculous time parameters to get the job done the problem lies with no HR and project manager's who have never worked in the field 

gator is a great company to work for. they have an incredible management team that cares about their workers. There is alot of room for advancement for people that work hard.

I like the cut of there jib . Learned something new every day. Crew was alright pay was good the hours was alright.  Not a fan of working nights but other than that it was fun.
