The days are medium paced, I have learnt the basics of pipefitting, working in different areas with the company. Management works hard to find jobs for me to work at. My co-workers are all very friendly and mild mannered, everyone gets along with everyone. The hardest part of the job is the time being away from Home BC, I would much rather if this company or others were offering flight jobs for guys starting out in the industry. The best part of the job is the learning experience and being able to establish myself.

Good environment, good people for the most part, there were a few personnel issues with the wrong people in the wrong position in my opinion. 
I learned that I am more than capable of taking any task and learning from it and engaging outside of my comfort zone with positive success.
Hardest part of my job was getting out of my comfort zone but it was also the most enjoyable part of my job because it encouraged me to broaden my horizon and reach new levels of success.

Ponoka's facility is a good place to work.  The company is quite pro-safety, almost to the point of being over-safe.  My foreman is helpful and gives good direction when I have questions.  The mod yard has grown alot in the past few years, and once things pick up, they will become more stable.  Right now, I'm working, so that is a plus.

informative morning safety meeting and group discussion about the day to come. planned out work schedule for workers. Foreman was very helpful in work and personal life as was every employee that was employed in the shop. The most enjoyable part of the job was working with my co workers.

Gemini is an ok place to work. The company expanded and grew to fast and because of the expansion it was poorly managed.
Advancement in the company is possible but trying to get a apprenticeship was impossible. There was a mentality amongst the workers that if you hadn't gone to school you didn't know anything. As well communication between worker about job tasks was greatly lacking.

Many challenges appeared, all were solved.
Clients were hard and demanding.
Very difficult to maintain schedules with changes on scopes.
At the end all was successfully. 
Stress is part of the business.

I have worked with Gemini for almost 10 years.  I loved Gemini and would like to think I'd still be there if the Oil and Gas Industry had not been experiencing so many hardships.  I loved the people, the culture and the daily challenges presented to me.

A great small company that provided me with the opportunity to contribute to all areas and departments.
I was a main contributor to setting up Primavera, and being the only scheduler there gave me the opportunity to build my own templates, codes, and calendars.

Fun place to work. Always had lots to do. enjoyed doing field measurements and working with the welder. the hardest part of the job was dealing with the high winds.
