Honestly every job has its stressful parts. But when working for genmec they try very hard to keep stressful situations very minimum

Amazing.  The supervisors and co workers are always there to support and teach you highly highly recommend working for Genmec acl

Busy but it's a steady and you can still be relaxed at the same time

safety,quality,intergrity  safety is our priority in our company

whole our entire shift, and while we work as a team and happy

Job went sideways under new management. Unless you were a brown noser or a buddy of the manager, you weren't going anywhere. 

What is the most stressful part about working at the company?
Being told how to do your job from manager with no experience in the field.

What is the work environment and culture like at the company?
It's used to be great. But with a change in management, you stood little chance of moving forward in your career.

my day is always interesting and fun. I learn different things everyday from different treads jobs carpentry, electrician , labour jobs and more importantly safety is the most essential thing in Genmec  culture. Genmec have great management they assist their workers through everything and answer all questions

10Hrs a day for 10 days straight. Money is good. Definitely worth it but if you need money and are a single without family it could work for you.

The safety aspect is above and beyond Imperial oil standards. 
ACL is a good stepping stone to better companys

Hired as a carpenter the work was beyond mundane, very relaxed atmosphere, very safety orientated, great work life balance - 10/10 isn't a money maker shift but great for a life style based company.

Genmec and kearl lake oil sands was a great place to work and they take safety for all employees co workers very serious. Total 180 compared to oil drilling 

Its a very safe and good place to work for new to the oil industry workers the work may not be hard but it is a secure job for anyone in the trades and a goo place to settle down after working hard.

!4 on and 14 off is a really good life style.  The supervision works really hard to make easy for you. They do more for you than any construction job in the real world that's for sure.  Safety is #1 and #2 before anything else. wages are ok but could be better. 

I liked it there getting away. I just wished people will relax and get along. Your a team act like it. I do regret not taking the positions or the road I should have. I did like the gf there.
