Hardest part was dealing with management negativity, and their micromanaging. Then the lack of a training/onboarding program. It's a toxic culture because you are not supported in learning and then penalized for asking questions and not knowing something. I can see why they have high turnover. The work and clientele is cool. It's a very unique business with very unique customers. 

Constantly changing, advancement in positions, potential growth is very high, family culture with colleagues, world class designs and clients. Opportunity to travel. Working with clients on a global scale. Management has open door policy to discuss concerns or advancement with salary.

Working at Genuwine Cellars is always exciting as almost every project is one of a kind. There is a very strong team with many talented individuals working towards the common goal of successfully completing each custom wine cellar. There is nothing like seeing the culmination of everyone's hard work and a happy client at the end of a project.

What is the best part of working at the company?
Great coworkers, most of them anyway. 

What is the most stressful part about working at the company?
Quota with regards to amount of work. 

What is the work environment and culture like at the company?
Okay for most part, stressful because of quota. 

What is a typical day like for you at the company?
Just the usual, check emails first thing then do your job.

Ever changing set of demands working in a custom work shop. Every day a client could push the design envelope to a new level for the manufacturing floor. New and inovative ideas and products. We learned how to think on our feet and to brain storm for a way to accomplish the clients wishes.

A great place to grow and craft your skill while working on some of the most unique one of a kind projects. Like minded co workers make every day a upbeat and enjoyable place to work. 

Given the opportunity to do site installs, you travel to different parts of the world and build amazing show stopping pieces. How ever days and trips can be long and stressful.  

i would go into work at 8am sit at my desk and work on CAD designs. 
i learned how to use autodesk inventor and how to beat deadlines.
quite poorly managed and training was horrible
most co-workers were friendly
remembering to fix all the tedious details on drawings
leaving at 4:30pm was the most enjoyable part of the job

Since all projects are custom there is always something new and challenging to learn. Genuwine is a great place to hone and practice woodworking skills. Steady paced workload with high expectations.

Unprofessional workplace that has really big communication issues . You don't know what to expect each day that comes , lots of unnecessary work gossip which creates a toxic environment,  many people come and go which includes shop guys. Upper management have very poor leadership and accountability. 

I loved the people I work for and with. We get to work on Jobs that are always diffrent and new. Very reawarding and the culture is great. Our clients are very diffrent and have unique tastes which makes our jobs fun,\.
