DO NOT WORK HERE. Both offices are very toxic. They do not represent their "office culture". Management encourages gossip which contributes to a negative, stressful work environment (but thats when management is actually in office and not out to lunch or running personal errands for majority of the day). You are not paid based on your experience. You will NOT get any raises. Associate dentists are great but also over-tasked and pressured about production which leads to the schedule being too crowded to be safe during a pandemic. Staff turnover is extremely high. Staff are nice but treated poorly. Do not expect any advancement and there is no job security as you can be let go at anytime. They will actually post an ad for your job while you are still working there. Everyone is easily replaced.

a great place to be if you want to grow in the dental industry especially starting out. Staff changes don’t seem to be any higher than the other places I have been at.  Management is quick to remove members who can’t keep up with the fast paced nature of the clinic or do not fit with the existing team culture.  

I am appreciated for hard work here, such a difference compared to my previous employer who was mean and rude. Owners used to offer an incentive program pre Covid but it had to canceled due to the pandemic, hopefully they will be able to bring it back again as it was nice to have the extra pay. Overall it’s a good place to be, but you have to be prepared to learn.

What is the most stressful part about working at the company?
As soon as the corporation took over the practice (Dentalook) they started firing some of the popular providers with great client rapports   for the clinic and incorporating their own people in the business!

What is a typical day like for you at the company?
Some days they would just lay you off and give away your patients to other hygienists to save some money!!

All the dentists I have worked for here are absolutely amazing. It's a shame that management was a complete let down. Most days you are not guaranteed your lunch break. Double booking is very common even though it was complained about during meetings, therefore making it a very stressful environment. Fallow times are not followed here, schedules are often packed and you better ask for N95 fit test before you start working here. 

Definitely a busy workplace. However, I enjoy it here as time passes quickly while getting lots done, Many long-term patients which make it more interesting. Employee benefits are offered including health care and insurance. Overall from my experience over the years, this employer is better than most as he listens and addresses staff concerns. Would recommend if looking for growth opportunity.

it's not always easy to find a workplace with people who want to be there and people who enjoy the work they do. Georgian Dental is one of those places. Co-workers are supportive, management asks for feedback and take appropriate action to improve (not all employers do this!! at least not my previous ones!), and as a team work together to be productive and provide the best service to patients. 

A typical dental office, girl's were awesome to work with, but most have them have moved on now. I enjoyed guiding the team to meet and exceed goals. It became more of a businesslike atomsphere and not a healthcare atomsphere. If it had remained a healthcare atmsphere and always putting the needs of patients before money I would still be there.

Worked there for a few years and the business is all about the money and production. Very hard to balance life/work. Always going back home late, most days are very stressfull and they don't pay what people deserve. Although people there are good they always leave cause you can't stay in a place that does not appreciate you and does not pay you well.

Georgian Dental, has been life changing. It is a very unique place to work. They use core values as the soul of the organization. Gratefulness, kindness, resilient, results oriented, being the top of the list. Imagine working with a team that exudes these values. It is so important that every employee fits the company values. The other day at a team meeting it was electric! It’s an honour to work here.
