in my experience Geotech Drilling has been an awesome employer and a great place to learn new skills, in the field and office. With new jobs regularly being awarded they have given me the opportunity to grow within the company and to see many parts of the world including jobs in Chile, Greenland, Africa and Antarctica - not to mention remote reaches of our own Canadian provinces and territories. Geotech has always rewarded hardwork with new opportunities and various benefit programs including a safety program where employees can earn safety points to be cashed in for prizes of their choice, lots of cool swag, not to mention all of the staff BBQ's and golf tournaments, holiday events and more. They are small enough to feel like you are 'not just a number' but big enough to provide consistent work and new challenges while maintaining good leadership and building trust among crews.

I started with Geotech after working in a variety of different industries.  Through hard work and dedication Geotech has supported me in the career growth path I wanted and helped me achieve my goals from my first position as an assistant on a drill to my current position today.  Myself and many others have been able to grow with the company.  For dedicated people that want a sustainable career and enjoy a fast pace this is a place to consider. 

Great company to work for, fast paced but you learn a lot. Management is supportive and encouraging and pushes employees to succeed and grow. Culture is laid back, but everyone works hard and is very dedicated and committed to their jobs/positions. The hardest part of the job can be the demanding deadlines and workload. Geotech is a very busy and growing company and if you aren't interested in being busy all day and would rather sit on your phone or waste time - this is NOT the place for you. The most enjoyable part of the job is watching the company grow.

Friendly and welcoming staff and management. Received lots of job skills and training in various job positions. 
Getting paid well to travel all over Canada is great! Get to experience some great places, meet many nice people all over the country. 
No two days are ever the same. Have had the opportunity to work everywhere from downtown city centers, or flying to work every day to the top of a mountain in a helicopter, the opportunity for different experiences is endless at Geotech. 

Good paying driving job. Would have stayed if the communication was better, if truck was suitable to live in for days at a time. HR, office and yard staff are the hardest working nicest people I've ever worked with. 

Amazing company to work for! Pays are very good. Long hours. Camp accommodations. Friendly crews . 

Offers health benefits, lots of daily over time , pays for flights to work . Offers extensive training when hired. 

Very organized, well run projects. Lots of opportunities to advance and train people properly. Good safety culture and very clean rigs. Every thing is set up exactly the same at every rig so its easy to transfer from rig to rig. 

I worked for them up in hope Bay area for a few years. They are a well organized company. That pays good and looks out of employees best interests. There equipment was well maintained and did the job well.

Worked at hope bay in Nunavut, all the guys were great, safety was on point, made a ton of money.  Would highly recommend working for these guys if you can.

The job paid well as it's mostly camp work. Some of the Managers were hard to deal with and the payroll department often "forgot" to pay LOA. Other than that it's a decent place to work.
