The management is understanding and will work with you if you have some “drive.” There are lots of miles available if you want them but there is not unnecessary pressure to get a certain amount done. The mileage pay is decent (maybe not quite as good as other trucking companies) but there are lots of easily attainable premiums, that more than makes up for that. Premiums for sweeping out, washing your truck, driving in the mountains, over the road reset, and more. The equipment is late model and in good shape, and they fix anything in a quick fashion if requested.  They also clean the truck inside and out every time you leave it at the terminal, something I really appreciate! To be honest I’m not sure where the negative reviews come from. The only thing I don’t like is the fact that I am away from home for 12 days at a time (always home on a weekend). 

My experience there was brief and it ended as quick as it began. The pay as compared to the amount of work involved was the poorest I had ever received in my career. I’m honestly thankful that they decided to let me go after their 3 month probation. They expected a lot of free labor from the drivers and their trailers were some of the most unsafe pieces of equipment I’ve ever had the misfortune of using. I could of made the same amount of money doing dry van as I made doing this job. Pretty pathetic. But for someone that lives near Gladstone or Neepawa and doesn’t know any better, it’s probably the ideal place to work. You can earn more or be paid fairly for the work you do at a lot of other companies. Don’t waste your time.

Enjoyable and inviting work atmosphere. Management team is always ready to support and lend a hand. Very diverse and multicultural team members. Following set protocols and procedures as a truck driver, will make your day run as smooth as can be. The Canada only runs (Manitoba to British Columbia) allow for some beautiful scenic drives.As spring approaches, the most difficult part of the job is self trip planning (dispatch will assist with this if needed) due to sprimg road restrictions.

I am very grateful for the opportunity to go to Canada and experience the life, but the promises made were not honoured and therefore we parted ways.
The job was advertised with the promise of 1 weekend (36 hours) per month at home. After a management restructure this was made much more difficult.
The reputation of the company among farms is not very positive, and competitive companies always asked about wages and the individuals running the show. The pay advertised was never forthcoming.

each day that I washed trucks for Gladstone transfer I only got paid 11/hr and it was simple work it was far from where I lived each day was washing 2 to 4 trucks a day and the job required me to clean the interior and exterior of each truck it was simple andi did not stay long enough to see weather or not the culture and manegment their was good.

Best of both worlds.  (New equipment under warranty and changed out every 2 or 3 years) of a mega company but with the chilled out( non micro managed) vibes of a mom and pop operation.  Never felt pushed but they would always find work for me if I was up to it.
Reset out of your home location. 

there is no consistency in jobs, they don't have supervision, English isn't always spoken.  you are just a body to do the work. the staff turn around is very fast as once you find out what is expected only the young kids that want to make money desperately want to stay

Management and dispatch needed work. Wages real low. Hardest part of the job was paydays, equipment was decent. Maintenance was good. Customers were generally good to work with.

It maybe different now it is under new management however during my time there it was a completely toxic place to work you only have to read the news papers to know that.

Work for free, bad pay, no training, just a body in the seat, I was promised the world with this company when I arrived from overseas. Starts off ok then you punished and get no miles, talked down to all the time, no one in the office has a class 1, management is poor. Terrible
