The company has a great sense of direction and are continuously adding more advancements to their products. They listen to what the market wants and they deliver.
Unfortunately, they don't pay the same attention to their employees as they do their customers. People are overworked, and although they state, let us know what you need to help us make you succeed, they do not.  
They want to be "transparent"with us (to me it means: we want you to think we are transparent, but we're really just hiding important information but just giving you a taste of what's going on).
There are so many hardworking, non-management people, who don't get the recognition nor the tools they need to perform their task well.
Unless your a top dog, nobody takes your suggestions into consideration. And they always state they're approachable, but don't talk to them unless you follow the hierarchy first.

I had a wonderful experience working at Glen Dimplex Americas.
The leadership team was supportive, professional, and genuinely committed to employee growth. I always felt valued and trusted in my role, and the culture encouraged collaboration, learning, and open communication.
The environment was positive, and I had the opportunity to work with talented colleagues who cared about the quality of their work and treated each other with respect. The HR team was especially helpful and proactive, making the overall experience even better.
I’m grateful for my time at Glen Dimplex and would highly recommend it as a great place to work.

My role changed four times in less than two years then my last manager let me go. Policies are not clearly defined. Was not empowered nor encouraged. Still sorting out policies and procedures one year after ERP transition. Micro-managed; barely talked to my own team because I had to be accountable for every minute of every day. Worked through incredible backlog and aging requests with little support or encouragement. Vision and structure of Commercial (Sales) team changed four times in less than two years. No job security. Very little fun at work.

I agree with all the recent negative reviews of this company. They put it very well of how this company works. A lot of it has to do with how understaffed they are and putting a bandaid on an open wound. If you’re able to stick it out while they are finding more people, good on you. But if you can’t handle stress everyday and not feel a sense of accomplishment, I would not bother with this company.

The place is highly disorganized with Management having no clue on how to run the ship. Good people are either let go or leave due to frustration of not being able to do their jobs. Attrition and turnover are horrible. People work in silos and are not professional or nice to each other- largely stems from how higher ups treat them. Every process is made more complicated in the name of ‘simplification’. Top level management uses abusive language all the time and are too egotistical to see the world burning around them. 

Very unorganized management. They don't know what they want to achieve. A few employees work really hard and the rest are just blaming one another and not working at all. Biggest drawback is management not looking after their employees and results in a lot of employees leaving recently.

NOT RECOMMENDED TO WORK AT GLEN DIMPLEX!!!

What is the best part of working at the company?
Pretty good place to work overall. People are friendly and easy to get along with, and the place is kept really clean. The benefits are good too.

What is the most stressful part about working at the company?
Nothing stands out as especially stressful compared to some other jobs I've had.

What is the work environment and culture like at the company?
They do a lot of employee events so that can be fun.

Although i was only a temp completing year end paperwork, I thoroughly enjoyed my time with Glen Dimplex. The workplace was welcoming, friendly, yet professional.  My manager provided clear and concise instructions and was always available for a chat when I needed to question something. I felt like I belonged and was a bit disappointed when my posting ended. Great company, great people!!

Gross favouritism. Hourly employees are looked down upon like peasants. Recently went to 10 hour shifts. Trying to have more temps than full timers. Promoting people to management with zero manufacturing experience. HR department is not there to help you and would gladly write you up. Some of my co workers and team lead were absolutely amazing though. This place is in extreme need of a union. 

Team work environment. This factory has come a long way in the last year, which is now more organized, improved equipment, steady employees, organized management team working on improving the plant. We are now going to a 4 day work week on two shifts. Very excited to have 3 days off every week.
