When I worked for Global, I made myself that guy that they called for odd jobs. If something needed doing, I was the guy there doing. Needed money for school so it's no like it mattered what my time was. Ended up getting several 60 hour weeks (voluntary) with reasonable overtime pay at Graphic Packaging.

If you need work quick, this is the place to go, but they will refer to the people they know to pick up work before thinking to use the new guy. Make yourself known by calling in or texting them about availabilities and they'll extend a hand. Certain employers could take you on as full-time after some period although I've seen people work part-time on the same shift for more than 18-months so your mileage may vary here.

Mackies changed its partners names twice because of advancement,
its origin is moving - a typical day working on automotive parts building parts for General Motors, they are another feeder plant,management is non-personal so there are no conflicts of intrest
between you an them. Your co-workers are a team for the most to get things built an ready to leave to go to GM with no mistakes because it cost your team an loss of production,what is considered
down time. The hardest part of the job is changing over to a new part 
an trying to the team on the same page, until that happens you rebuild an its not fun to fix others errors even your own. The most enjoyable part was the holidays an a break away from everyday work!.

Wanted to find a better work opportunity for myself and decided to go through Global. They were very friendly and proactive with the interview process.

From the day I submitted my resume with them, to the day I recieved a placement, was about 4 days.

They were very upfront with what the position requires from me, and what I would be doing.

Very friendly and responsive even after I received placement, always getting back to me to answer my questions and concerns.

Definitely recommend looking into them if you need work!

Not the best company...some of the jobs you're on won't allow any breaks in a 13 hour shift. Made an informal complaint to management and was basically told like it or leave it. Not those words, but that was the impression. Management just covering their butts and not caring about employees. Not the best company to work for. Salary is awfully low

My current company is a great place to work as it offers flexible work arrangements that suits your work-life balance. Employees' mental and physical health are also prioritized and the project work is interesting, unique, and engaging. It is rewarding because I get to help meet business goals globally, not only in Canada.

HAS GREAT LOCATIONS FOR WORKING. LCBO WAREHOUSE, LOBLAWS, METRO. BUT WITH A SINGLE DISAGREEMENT THEY DONT CALL THE AGENT TO FIND OUT WHAT HAD HAPPENED. THEY PULL YOU FROM THE SITE AND DONT FIND A REPLACEMENT. EVEN WHEN THEY SAY THEY DO.

Had a nice easy job, I could listen to music, take my time with my work.  If I hurried through the work, there would be nothing to do and we would be sent home, so we just dragged the work out, took our time, boss would find something else for us to work on.

Global HR gets temp jobs. I'm looking for permanent, full time work. I didn't stay long enough to get a good idea what management was like, but a typical work day usually implied standing at a machine all day making parts.
