Before starting this job I was promised full training since I was completely new to the industry. I was not given the training I needed and when I asked for help I was told to figure it out. You are expected to pay for any networking groups or events that you attend on the company's behalf and they refuse to reimburse you. After almost a year of no car allowance and being asked to drive around all over ontario finally they offered only 5k extra for the entire year. In my 8 months here I have spent well over 2000 dollars of my own money to make the company look good and receive no compensation. Also there are many problems you encounter throughout the sales process that you were never trained to handle and thus causes frustration for the client as every little problem takes weeks to fix. Clients will call you and say they have received no deposits and can not pay their employees. There is nothing you can do about it as a sales person which causes a lot of guilt and anxiety. 

This was a great place to work. It is a call center environment and there are a lot of people coming and going. If you have the skills required to do the job and you don't let rejection get you down this is an excellent place to work. 

I learned alot about the merchant processing industry and gained a lot of knowledge on sales strategies. I also gained a lot of confidence in my abilites here. The management team is very motivating.

The culture in the workplace varies greatly depending on the department you are in. The openers floor is a lot more relaxed with more of a younger crowd while the account management side has a much more structure and demand from the employees. 

As senior account manager the hardest part of the job is the high pressure sales, you need to maintain a high volume of sales in order to have sucess and it takes a lot of mental energy to stay on top. 

The most enjoyable part of the job was the people that you meet and get to interact with on a daily basis. They have a great team.

-Great mentors, the company invests in enriching its employees with not only work related coaching but also life coaching. Dedicating an entire 30 minutes every morning to motivate employees/reward star performers definitely sets a positive working environment for everyone.
-The culture is so dynamic and boisterous, it is hard to not want to come in to work.
-Management is very flexible and considerate towards scheduling, hours and giving exceptions (when performance is noticed, of course)
-Great career advancement - I had the pleasure of getting to understand and work in every company department and learn so many new skills.
-The location is amazing, EVO is located right next to metro Peel.
-Great benefits package - RRSP/DPSP accounts, group insurance and a great bonus package. Performance is rewarded.

During the course of approximately 9 months at Evo Canada I was responsible for the training of sales representatives. My job entailed teaching them how to manage their work schedule, how to approach merchants and sell them our products, and most importantly my job required me to constantly monitor and motivate these sales reps.

What truly makes Evo Canada a great company is the people that work there, they are motivated and bring a great energy to the work environment, it was a true pleasure.

The hardest part of the job was trying to remain focused on the obscured and unclear purpose of the work I was committed to, without having a clear description of the mission statement of the organization, work then became very redundant.

The most enjoyable part of the job was the amount of energy and joy that was brought to me through the people and friends I've made.

I worked here for a year and it was stressful, boring and unprofessional! People constantly didn't fallow rules, protocol and were very hypocritical. Sick days were seen as a burden , you are incredibly expendable. To them you are just a number. I was ****** and I was terminated on New years day because I was sick a little before Christmas and needed a few days off to recover. I also got vocation days taking for the few days I couldn't make it to work because I HAD GOT INTO A CAR ACCIDENT.. yes, you read that correctly. (Y)   You also have to PAY VERY CLOSE ATTENTION to your pay checks because they will try and pay you incorrectly multiple times! Newbies are treated like gold and loyal people are sent to pasture like old yeller . Don't work here if you like your dignity. Best time about working here was the free food they had when people would bring in food for potlucks.

Working at EVO is a nice environment. 

What is the most stressful part about working at the company?
Most stressful part is getting more bonuses than usually.

What is the work environment and culture like at the company?
Professional and quiet, with some holiday parties, and taking care of employees on snacks and coffee to give you a will lift of the day.

What is a typical day like for you at the company?
A delicious cup of coffee in the morning, still miss my nice cup of EVO's coffee, saying good morning to staff. Loved starting working even in the morning, greeting customers, pitching them to offer EVO's help on processing. For some reason time fly faster when working there. Full day on calls   and enjoyed the days that passed on reaching customers.

I was trained really well before being put on the floor! We had a nice month long training class which was really nice. Everyone made us feel welcome. The management were all really helpful however depending on the shift there was sometimes not a single manager on the floor! There was constant mandatory overtime which really conflicted with a social life outside of the work. My campaign was awful!! Not TSYS fault. Just the campaigns fault. It was a really relaxed atmosphere and a great place to work. The moral was normally pretty high and the management always had little celebrations going on. I would recommend TSYS! Sadly only paid min.wage but did have great benefits. I still think it should be min. $16/hour.

The Managers are very supportive. I had a wonderful manager who had your back no matter what. The Initial trainer was unprofessional. Spoke too quickly and expected everyone in training to be a computer whiz. Were expected to just learn as we go (certainly were not ready to take calls) but graded harshly for mistakes. Expected to endure verbal abuse by angry customers on a daily basis. Calls were all recorded and graded harshly. Were expected to rush calls but yet expected quality customer service. Expected to take too many calls in too short a time. High stress and low pay. There was good team spirit and we had "fun" days, i.e. barbecues, games, etc. I would only recommend this job as a temporary place to work until something better comes along.

It targets small and midsized merchants, who are often overlooked by other payment processors. Global Payments also offers electronic tax payment and benefits transfer processing. The company operates throughout North America, Europe, and the Asia/Pacific region.

Working in this area has afforded me the ability to understand government legislation on policy and enforcement of Commercial vehicle safety.  
The team I work with is very knowledgeable and hardworking and passionate about their jobs. 
Most times my position is working in a fast paced environment where there are strict deadlines to adhere to for Minister correspondence.  

I work with a group of professionals who compliment daily functions.  In this position, one must be flexible to changes and adjust schedule appropriately to meet demands of this job.  This is the most enjoyable part of my job.
