Global Spectrum

A typical day is walking to your work, walk to your office, walk on average of 15,000 steps daily.  It is the hardest part of the job.  The co-workers are fun, hard-working and down to earth people.  Management does not value or pay near market value for experience

I am a long time employee at the General Motors Centre Oshawa which is managed by Global Spectrum (Spectra Management). Its is a great place to work, very flexible, and friendly environment. Good job for anyone looking for part time seasonal work, mainly during the hockey season and a few events during the summer.

I wouldn't recommend working for this company. There is no work life balance. Long hours with bad pay. Extra work hours are expected for events with no extra pay if your on salary. There is not enough staff on the Administrative end of planning and executing of events. Management is nice to you in person until their not anymore.

It is a good company to work for but it has it demands on people. They only work at night and most times it is over 12 hours after events . if you work the events and then you clean the stands . if you are scared of hights then you would need to tell them. 
It is only mim wage and no benifits . There is not work there during the summer months summer months

A typical day at work is all easy going and laid back and fun workplace, the MOST enjoyed was back in 2015 at the Pan Am games. The Hardest was when people YELL AND curse at me:((((( it is a part of Ushering and the most fun was when I did promoting country night at volleyball games

Provides an excellent team player environment and work culture and holds some interesting and exiting events. The management were easy to work with a there was open and honest communication between the staff and the employees. 

This is a great job if you are looking to make some extra cash or its the first job you've ever had. Not regular hours, since its only on days of hockey games. The weather can get you down, but you encounter many friendly people and your coworkers are great.

Working at Global Spectrum is fun, challenging and an overall great experience. Fellow employees are nice, and helpful. Managers/Supervisors are fun and easy to get along with.
Manageable hours, for people in school or with children.

co workers are helpful and suopportive, supportive management.

The company allowed for individuals to learn and grow with the company. The management encouraged team work and collaboration in order to complete the projects.
