In the almost 10 years I have been with this company I can say it has been the best decision I have made career wise. Compared to some of the other places I have been, Glover is by far the best to work for. There are tons of opportunities to learn new and different things as the industry is always changing, lots of training, great co-workers, diversification in other in products and industries other than just trucking etc.. Days can be long and expectations are high, but like anywhere, you get rewarded for the work and attitude you put in, not just about how long you have been there. Ownership is always looking for ways to keep staff happy and engaged, they throw an awesome Christmas party with games, prizes, free drinks, contests for selling the most parts, etc. Beats the free turkey and hand shake I got at Christmas with a previous employer. If you like to work hard and earn your way up the ladder, than this is the place for you. 

Best dealership to work for in the Industry! Glover International has made a respectable name for itself in the industry and I am proud to work for them. Management is terrific, they actually care about you as an employee give you every opportunity to grow and move up in the company when positions become open, including paying for schooling if they feel your the right person for the job and have the right attitude. 

Ownership is also very involved in the day to day scheme of things, they actually make the time to talk to you and there door is always open if you need to chat with them. 

One of the best Christmas parties I have ever been to, lots of free cash give-a-ways. Everyone gets emailed random contests to participate in while working and the prizes are awesome! 


I can tell you without a doubt that this company is well managed and actually cares about the well being of their staff. 

It was shock and awe for me. I couldn't believe the difference in the quality of my life, being around people that genuinely care about the work and getting our customer up an running all while staying up beat? This translated directly and made my home life better, made me a better, made me a better employee. I plan on retiring with this company.  If you get a chance come see for yourself. Doesn't even need to be an interview just come in and have a look.

What is the best part of working at the company?
Really good pay with training bonus considering you are home every night. Great team to work with.  Not your typical dealership work, vast scope of work not just trucks 

What is the most stressful part about working at the company?
Tech shortage on the floor. Benefits aren't the best

What is the work environment and culture like at the company?
Same as anywhere good and bad, most are happy, always some who are never happy

What is a typical day like for you at the company?
Very rarely is there nothing to do. They will always keep you busy and working l, if you are willing to do the job.

After being unemployed for a year and putting out over 100 resumes, I interviewed at Glover.  The job I initially applied for was filled from promotion, so I started at reception.  IMMEDIATELY, I felt like I belonged.  With 2 kids in school, the beginning of my time here was tested by Covid and school closures, etc. I was never made to feel like I was putting anyone out.  The people that work here are nothing short of amazing...right from the top.  I have since been promoted into the service department as a service writer and the support, encouragement and belief that has been given to me is definitely helping make me the best I can be.  I plan on being at Glover until I retire...and that's a long ways away!

The Service Department careers available at Glover International are by far the best out there! A vast array of available training and technical resources that will rival any dealership. If you are looking for a company that has a wide variety work ranging from new truck rig ups, body building, aerial boom and digging equipment, complete engine and chassis repair, and in depth electrical and multiplexing diagnostics and repair, this is the place for you. 

I have many years of experience and have worked for 8 different employers; so I have seen the good and the bad during my journey.  This is a great group of people to work with.  There is fantastic Work / Life balance and I would recommend working for this Company to anyone I know.  I actually know people who have left and would love to come back.

I have worked in the Automotive industry for over a decade. Coming to Glover Airdrie as been by far the best decision I have made work wise. The team is amazing, the techs are incredible and so willing to tech me anything I want to know. Our service manager doesn’t make you feel like you are below him but a team player, an integral part of the Glover team. By far the best environment I have ever worked in!  

Unorganized and poor parts management and discriminative! Felt used and overworked. Felt they rely on one hard worker and lets everyone else slack. Miss days for medical reasons and get laid off for it even though you give 3 weeks notice and move the appointment ahead for them cause someone else had one of the days booked off already. Also underpaid for the amount of work given and under appreciated for it.

Work is physically demanding.
