I was told casuals are given little respect on the job and thus have little or no opportunities for advancement.  I was asked if I wanted to pursue a part-time or casual position; I was under the impression there would be sufficient casual hours to justify the freedom that description would give me.  I was asked to do janitorial duties outside of the job description, which I didn't mind, but the manner I was approached was that of disdain. I was told to do all the work one evening a colleague was working on her educational assignments to prove I could work alone. I had the keys required for the job duties removed on three occasions. I was told they needed to replace the keys.  The new ones didn't work. I felt I was one of the most qualified applicants and not treated with respect or dignity and was ultimately forced out of the job when I asked for more hours and complained of being treated unfairly.  

Working here and in this position unfortunately means that this employer expects you to have no stable personal life. They expect employees to be available at all times for all shifts so if you wanted to do something like a bowling league or book club forget it. The pay is sub par as you'll be in charge of 20+ teenage students with very little structure or support.  You also are expected to find your own shift coverage if something comes up and your unable to work for your scheduled shift. 

Each day had a variety of duties each day that provided further learning in various software and accounting processes.  The workplace environment was friendly and helpful and great staff in all departments.  The hardest part may have been the often quirky software that was used in processing payables and receivables.

Colony management is poorly run. Big changes need to be made to have a respectful work atmosphere with teachers, aids and managers. The whole colony education system is in desperate need of repair as well as management. 

I assisted International Students in finding homes for the to live in while in our country to study for school.

It was exciting to work with students from different cultures, learn some of their language and customs.

In the beginning it was a great job. But it sharply declined when the economy took a down turn and funding for schools all but dried up making cutbacks necessary. I became a victim of those cutbacks and was pressured into quitting by having my pay cut to half of original.

good culture, good pension, good management, 
decent salary.

A good place to work especially if you are interested in a long term career.

I enjoyed working at the school as I knew most of the teachers and really enjoyed working with the young children.
The atmosphere was very relaxed and enjoyable.
Always fun and entertaining when working with kids.

Love the people I work with. Buses are very well maintained. Love the kids and parents. Boss is very organized. Drivers are very well trained and aren't thrown into the job.

Good management.  Lots of fun activities always being planned with the kids to enhance their education. Lots of collaboration with others.  Everything is geared towards the kids and educating them.
