A toxic leader can really have impact on the overall team. The front line employees are hard working and are not well compensated. 
You are expected to work most weekends and there isn’t much of a work life balance. Many staff members face critical life problems. More training is needed to support mid-management. As well as training for the overall management team. Senior leadership in retail only manage up.

Management is bad!!!   Only a couple people work per day while others watch people work and talk all day.  Management favours the talkers and between them they play games to get you to quit.   Schedule is all over the place and last minute, not allowed a life outside of work.  I e learned to stay to myself and not associate with anyone.   The work though anyone can do.  Though training is done by other employees and not management.

Good benefits  great quality of products great shifts managements slrught

The team leads always saying company first before customers 

What is the work environment and culture like at the company?
Dusty dirty cracks in floors culture is ok I would say good environment 

What is a typical day like for you at the company?
Lots of exercise lifting heavy items

Management favourites and majority of them have no idea what they're doing. The directors and so forth have no experience in what they're doing since they were hired for their position through friends or family referrals. Going through the hiring process for goodwill is a waste of time and there are much better job opportunities elsewhere. 

This place helped me save a lot of money - up to 8k in one year because the pay is good and they are willing to give hours. 
This is my first job and I’m nervous to get another one, it might not be as good as this one
Pay is good. Friendships are good. Managers are good. 
On the floor is tedious tidying work 
In the back is chill productive work

Great co workers and Mngt team 😁

Having to put out a quota of clothes and have them all bad.

Fantastic...mngt caters to the employees needs

Happy that we ALL made a difference ☀️

Depends where you work within the organization. Some departments are better than others. If ur in a store or donation center, it's gonna be tough. Your mental health and job advancement depends on people liking you. But it's secure, the pay is meh but comparable, benefits are nice and the community is great. If you need some extra supports, this could be a great place to work.

Management was not the best always downsizing and stealing from the company.

The public basically uses us to dump off their trash while we underpaid employees get to sort through it. Benefits don’t kick in until 9 months after working for the company, and I hear they’re not great either. Only here to make a paycheque and gonna dip once I can.

You work really hard, in my case alone for 8 hours a day. Lifting, pushing, pulling, bending over you do it all. Puls dealing with the public a lot...
