I really enjoy working for this company because they offer me so many perks. I get a company vehicle every month, free gas, and all lunches and hotels. I do not mind driving that is why this job is great for me, although I wish I were doing something a bit more active for my line of work because; I am a very active and athletic person.

This company leaves a lot of room for me to grow within, and I really like that. I work 4 days a week and have 3 days off, I feel as though that is a great schedule!

its factory work. what more can I say. there is room for advancement as a floor worker, if you want it, but you have to prove yourself.  there are two shifts.  I really cant say to much about management as contact is little.   the workers pretty much know one another. This is the reservation after all.  The hardest part of the job as a floor worker is not always knowing where you will be situated on a given day.  The most enjoyable is that everyone gets along and works together.  Ive learned that I am capable of more than just being a laborer.

I found the environment to be completely toxic and oppressive. If you do not behave like the current managers then you are not in the click. Therefore you will not succeed. the supervison is inept and highly under educated and under qualified. But they are friends or family of the right people so they are your boss. It is sad to see there oppressive behavior to there own people. There is no community there just apples that only want mo ey and any kick back they can get for being Native.

The work place is dusty and noisy with long periods standing. Typical shift spent collecting, testing samples and recording data. Learned to operate machines, warehouse duties, then moved to quality control. Management is acceptable. Co-workers vary from dependable to useless.Hardest part of job is air quality and amount of walking. Enjoyable part of job was data entry because you were allowed to sit.

At Grand River Enterprises I was formally introduce to the work lifestyle. I stood on my feet for approximately 7 hours which prepared me for long hours for my other jobs. The workplace was very professional, the QC, supervisors were strict but also fun. The hardest part of the job, at first, was standing for long hours. The most enjoyable was working with other students and getting to know them.

Incentives for perfect attendance , profit share bonuses offered ever 3-4 months , opportunity for advancement available , The company offers many excursions outside of the workday to employees and their families . Management could be improved by working more one on one with employee needs/issues .

Do not recommend this place, they take advantage of their reliable employees, nepotism is rampant, they're unprofessional, yearly cutbacks to their employee benefits package and bad attitudes go unchecked. The only way to be successful in such a toxic environment is to be related to or know one of the higher-ups.

A typical day at work would include various work around the plant. Packaging cigarrettes, making cigarettes or running the packaging machine.

Co-workers are usually humerous while working with them

every employee is friendly and willing to help you learn your job, the supervisors do not tend to hover and the machines break often leading to downtime.

a typical day can be busy or not so busy but over all it is a good place to work. the workers and management staff are friendly and have a sense of humor which is always good! and of course the pay is good. thanks for the experience at G.R.E
