Granite Golf Club

Granite Golf Club is a quiet, low traffic private golf club staffed by friendly managers and everyday staff. Early mornings and late nights can be expected during the peak of the golf season. Management has very high expectations for staff when it comes to the services provided to members. Working here teaches employees to go above and beyond the minimum requirements in order to satisfy these high expectations.

It was great working here. Had a lot of fun bonding with the group that was there during the summer. Mix of new and older people who were able to work well together. For the most part, had the same routine week in and week out which is nice knowing what you’re going to do. Management is great. They expect a lot and if you work hard, you’ll impress them. Just put in the work and you’ll do well.

•Prepared and platted custom culinary dishes 
•Coordinate, plan and prepare menus for large special events 
•Provided high level of service to private members of the club requiring custom orders and resolved concerns or inquiries they may have specific to their culinary requests 
•Maintained the hygiene of the kitchen, refrigeration units and appliances.

I met nice people there, coworkers and guests.
The payment  as comission at the end of the season is very low. Because the tips it’s shared for everyone, some ppl gonna work but others just chatting whenever they have a chance.


This was a great way to learn to serve when there were slower shifts. However, the level of perfection placed on staff is a little dwelling. Management doesn't accept mistakes well. I think if it was staffed better in terms of number of servers and run through the use of sections, it would be better.

everyone you meet is so nice and amazing, managment is great the job is very easy and relaxed!

the golf members are all professional and i enjoy riding the golf carts to bring out drinks and food on the course.

there is a bit of waiting around to do things but the atmosphere as a whole is memorable and great

A majority of members are great but there are some that can be mentally exhausting for employees. I learned A TON about customer service and how being positive at work can lead to a great reputation.

Being a new cook in the hospitality industry, Granite Golf Club was EXACTLY what I needed to kickstart my love for learning in the culinary world. Very well managed and overall a very positive and uplifitng place to work!

A great club for new workers and students. Management look after the staff. There are staff golf tournaments and food trucks once a month. You get paid a bonus after the season at Christmas

I would recommend this job to anyone especially Students.  Itis hard work but you are treated very well. Manage is excellent & they have a open door policy for any situation that you have
