I had high hopes when joining this company, but unfortunately, my experience has been far from satisfactory. The management is incredibly disorganized and seems to lack the necessary experience to effectively lead a team.

One of the most frustrating aspects of working here is the blatant favoritism that exists. Some employees are given numerous chances regarding their work ethics, while others, who are less favored by the management, are given no opportunity at all to explain themselves. This unequal treatment creates a toxic work environment where advancement is based on personal relationships rather than merit.

Communication is virtually nonexistent, with little to no follow-ups or team meetings. This lack of structure makes it difficult to feel like a valued member of the team.

To make matters worse, the managers are rarely present and seem to only listen to one side of the story when issues arise. Their lack of people skills and authoritarian attitude make employees feel dispensable and undervalued.

Additionally, the probation period is extremely strict, requiring employees to walk on a straight line with any mistakes leading to an almost automatic expulsion. This policy creates a culture of fear and anxiety, where employees are afraid to make even minor errors for fear of losing their jobs.

Overall, my time here has been marred by poor management practices and a lack of respect for employees. I would not recommend this company to anyone looking for a positive and supportive work environment.

What is the best part of working at the company?
Working at Gray Collection has been one of the most rewarding experiences of my career. I have never seen a company that cares so genuinely about its people. The culture is deeply human and thoughtful and employees are not just supported, they are truly valued.

The onboarding process is unlike anything I’ve experienced before. It is structured, intentional, and designed to set every new team member up for success from day one. There is clarity, guidance, and real investment in each person’s growth.

What makes it even more unique is the close collaboration with the owners. They are present, engaged, and transparent, which makes our work not only more efficient, but far more enjoyable. Being part of a company where leadership is accessible and culture is lived every day makes all the difference.

What is the most stressful part about working at the company?
The only real stress I experience is the one I put on myself as an overachiever. The company itself does not create pressure but it creates opportunity. The environment pushes you to elevate, not through fear or stress, but through support, collaboration, and shared ambition. Being part of a group that challenges you to grow while making the journey enjoyable is truly rare.

During my time at Gray Collection, I had the chance to work with truly great people across the group. Passionate, hardworking, and supportive colleagues who really make a difference day to day. It’s also a place where you don’t just build professional relationships, but real friendships that often go beyond work. Gray Collection understands that a company’s strength lies in its people, and it shows through the importance given to employee experience and team development.

The location is another big plus. With three nearby metro stations, getting to work by public transportation is easy and convenient.

The work can be demanding, both physically and mentally, and you really need to be passionate about this field. That said, with the support and values of the Antonopoulos family, growth and success are absolutely possible.

The people. They hire really great people which is the n. 1 motivation to go to work.

Salary not competitive therefore life becomes stressful when you can’t pay all your bills

Extremely collaborative. Fun loving people. A work hard play hard vibe

What is a typical day like for you at the company?
Collaboration with colleagues. Working with suppliers and invoice payments. Marketing meetings, emails, data analysis.

This is a family business and for everyone that is devoted to their job, you feel like you are a part of the family. Because there are multiple establishments all located close to eachtother, it creates a sense of community, and you feel like you are part of something great. The company has really good values, they take care of their employees and the employees take care of their guests. Everybody wins. It's a great place to work and I'm proud to be a part of the team. 

Love coming to work, because the people and the culture are warm and kind. 

There is no toxicity, which is great for my mental health. 

Staff feels valued; we get interesting trainings; work is challenging but goals are achievable. 

Exciting new projects on the horizon make this a fun company to grow in. 

Unfortunately, management is still trying to effectively market the spa, lack of clients or too many is constantly an issue.

Most of the staff is friendly unless it is the only place that they work, then, well they are quite competitive.

Interesting area, beautiful building, staff meal. Not too shabby staff room.

As a hostess it was tough standing the whole 10 hours, sometimes more, and in the restaurant business you barely get a break. However, meeting and chatting with clients was fun and my coworkers were amazing as well. It was fun for the summer! 

I have been working at gaspar for over a year now. It is a place where you get to meet fun knew people and interact most of the time but never forget to always do your job properly and quick because you don't want to fall behind when there's service.

Worked with a very skilled and passionate crew. Summer was significantly long days with the tourist season kicking in, restaurant, terrace and banquets for weddings was hectic but that was the learning curve .
