12 hour shift of sitting in a booth taking payment for time spent using the parking lot from customers. Because of the location was near the Older Adult Centre and the YMCA there were many customers from each centre that were displeased with the lack of space and needing to pay. I learned customer service , to sympathize with the individual, working  cash, working independently, making deposits, opening and closing booth, fixing the gate when it got stuck, refilling the tickets if they ran out. Working alone was fine, got to strike up conversations with the customers and got to know their names, personalize each greeting. No real security knowing there was money and then having to walk the deposit to the downtown location.

Depends what your job description you're hired for. Everything's different every day. There is in your claws of your contract and or other duties. Example, if you're hired as a truck driver 90% of the time you're not going to drive the truck, you're going to be helping other people in difference. Areas of expertise could be from shoveling asphalt to helping bricklayers pushing a broom. We're all within the same pay scale so it doesn't much matter what your job is

I work on my own after the building has been closed for the day. I clean all areas of the building and stock items when needed. Pretty simple, must be able to problem solve on your own. Have ability to do basic handyman work

I worked for the COVIVD vaccine clinics. It was a challenge at times but was a very fulfilling job. Not all clients were on board with being vaccinated. The protestors were nasty at times. 

Had a a great time working in this organization, planning out daily activities and games for summer campers, seeing the campers have fun while doing these planned events was really rewarding.

Management is corrupt and only cares about themselves. Favoritism is huge! Bosses are bullies and are protected by upper management. You are just a number and if you don't fit in you are an outcast.

Very easy job in itself, along with a decent pay for effort required. There is no home life for almost 5 years and management is ready to fire you at any given moment. 

I learned that having a job requires commitment and dedication.  If these tasks are not performed it will negatively impact the community.  The management was available for support.

Treated very professionally since the first interview. As an employee I was treated very well, my boss was very easy to work for and was also very supportive
